Simona made our stay truly magical. We got care that we have never experienced anywhere else. She was always available she prepared extremely tasty breakfast and dinner for us and helped us with everything. I didn't think there was such a level of professional care that a host could provide. We loved every minute of it despite the bad weather. Extremely extremely highly recommended place!

The location being close to the airport was a key factor in our planning. However, I would consider staying at the Grad Strmol on future trips both on arriving as well as on departure. It was fabulous.

The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana.
The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana. Even Postojna or the seaside towns can be visited from Cerklje. There is a good skiing slope in the vicinity. I recommend this town for summer and winter holidays as well.

It gave me luxury hotel vibes even though it's an apartment. Big and well equipped kitchen, nice fluffy towels in the bathroom, smart tv and a great bed. We stayed here due to our early flight and because we saw they do free airport shuttles. Staying a few days longer would be nice because the place is so comfortable, but I don't think there is much to do in the area so that's a consideration
