Simona made our stay truly magical. We got care that we have never experienced anywhere else. She was always available she prepared extremely tasty breakfast and dinner for us and helped us with everything. I didn't think there was such a level of professional care that a host could provide. We loved every minute of it despite the bad weather. Extremely extremely highly recommended place!

The location being close to the airport was a key factor in our planning. However, I would consider staying at the Grad Strmol on future trips both on arriving as well as on departure. It was fabulous.

The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana.
The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana. Even Postojna or the seaside towns can be visited from Cerklje. There is a good skiing slope in the vicinity. I recommend this town for summer and winter holidays as well.

I don’t know the last time I spent two hours enjoying a meal with my husband. We had to leave early in the morning for the airport and the stuff prepared to to go boxes with small sandwiches, fruit, and a drink for our journey. That was very thoughtful. It was nice that the hotel was just a few minutes away from the airport but you didn’t feel like you were at a hotel near the airport. The stuff called us a cab to get a ride to the airport early in the morning. PayneUnited States of America

The proximity to the airport was only 10 mins drive away but the hotel felt quite rural as it was in a pretty village with lovely views of the mountains. The room was spacious with an extra bedroom with a hallway and was very comfortable. We'd have prefered a double bed but that could have been our mistake as it was booked at the last minute. The location is beautiful, surrounded by mountains with lots of hiking trails around. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and welcomes you very warmly and are very attentive. The rooms are very clean. The lunch/dinner and breakfast were very good! Definitely recommend this place.

Supermarket is 10 min’ away by car. Cool playground for younger kids. In general, the stuff was friendly (except of one who was in charge there who was totally impolite at the checkout)

The hotel is very nice, very comfort. It is also good if one wants to be close Lubliana. Nothing to do in the area of the hotel, simply nothing. Go there only if you have a car, of course.
