The newer build hotel is concrete structure, so the rooms are quiet. This is hard to find in Whitehorse but something important to me. The hotel is in a good location near the river for nice walks with several restaurants nearby. I have already returned for a second stay at this hotel.
A restaurant and bar are featured at this Whitehorse city center hotel. A microwave and fridge are provided in all guest rooms. Elevators are available in all levels. Free WiFi is included.

I don't understand all the bad reviews. The hotel is directly located in downtown Whitehorse. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and the staff is friendly. All in all a good place to stay for a few days!

Everything was perfect! The apartment made my stay in Whitehorse even better. Cozy, clean, comfortable and great location!!
Northern Lights Resort & Spa, located a 25-minute drive south of Whitehorse city center, offers an array of luxurious amenities, including a spa & wellness center, outdoor hiking trails, and wellness...
The McBride Museum is worth a visit. Very interesting displays about the history of the Yukon. Be sure to have lots of time to take it all in.
Downtown is delightful, with a lovely plaza and sitting area along the river. Lots of nice little restaurants to suit every palate and budget too.
Miles Canyon is a few minutes south of town and worth a visit as well. Take a short or long hike there. It's beautiful!
Other places I've visited that are worth visiting: Yukon Wildlife Preserve, Eclipse Spa and Hotspring (book online and it's cheaper), Yukon Beringia Centre, Yukon Transportation Museum.
If you fly to Whitehorse, try to book on Air North. It's much better than Westjet and Air Canada, and they actually give you a meal with a WARM chocolate chip cookie!

Room was satisfactory but bathroom was not cleaned daily and beds were only made once on a 3 day visit
As there is a limited choice of hotels in Whitehorse I feel they are complacent

Amazing views, friendly people, and also a good place for people who love the outdoors. Fishing, hiking, camping during the spring and summer seasons. Very short days during the winters, and sometimes gets very cold.

Listen, if Booking.com will not stand up for its customers then they will not last very long. This place was horrible! Yet they are making us pay for it anyway when we could not even stay in the building! This is unacceptable!

This was a really fun trip.
This was a really fun trip. We visited for a week with three kids, ages 10, 8 and 5. Whitehorse is a tourist city. That being said, the bar and restaurant scene in the Yukon is geared towards young solo travellers and couples with lots of disposable income and no young kids. While it was a great experience, with the age of my family, if I were to do this trip over I would not have concentrated so much on hitting all the unique restaurants as every lunch and every supper ended up costing more than $120, even when we were trying to be frugal. This really added to the cost of the trip. Rather than trying to hit all the restaurants, if travelling with young kids I would recommend sticking with the familiar chain restaurants like Subway, A&W and McDonalds for lunches when out-and-about. You should be able to save a ton of money by taking most of your breakfasts and suppers at the apartment. (Go to the grocery store and buy the quick staples like frozen pizza, chicken nuggets, and things you know your kids will eat. The really great thing about the Yukon is the scenery, so I highly recommend getting out road trips to Haines Junction, Skagway, Watson Lake, Dawson, Carcross, etc. Do some hiking and walking around. Leave the restaurants and the bar scene to those who will appreciate it more.
Very quite and comfortable room and bed.
The host Marcel was always helping me if I needed a recommendation or advice for traveling the area (e.g. hiking advices).
He knows the place for a very long time, is very open-minded and likes to share stories and recommendations for Whitehorse, Yukon and Canada as a whole.
I had many interesting conversations with him and it was nothing but a pleasure staying there!
Thanks again, Marcel!
Midnight sun inn was an excellent place to stay in Whitehorse. It provided the best value we could find in Whitehorse and is located in a very convenient central location. Anson, the owner, was courteous, easily accessible by telephone throughout the day, and made sure we were provided everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. Would recommend for any travellers who need a place to rest for a few nights in Whitehorse.
Special needs room with terrible bathroom design for able body people. Shower leaked all over bathroom floor. Not enough towels to moo up mess. When we did lots dirt on black floor. Cold sterile rooms and hallways . Lighting in room poor, black walls. Not the less bit inviting. Every night was a different price. Restaurant fair and would not stay or recommend this hotel.
Smashing B&B, in a good location 20 minutes north of Whitehorse. The room was good, and would have been ideal for seeing the lights but for the cloud! But, we were so well looked after. Super supper with nice interesting company, Andrew, Maria and Ola who really looked after us. Brilliant breakfast. All round a super stay. Thanks.
I really liked how friendly and how accommodating the staff was. They made me feel welcome, and one could not ask for a better hotel for the price, particularly given you can walk to almost anything you need. The hotel is centrally located downtown. I would not hesitate to stay there again!

I love the location of this rental, it was beautiful there. We enjoyed how clean everything was. We were very satisfied with the ease of access and how close it was to downtown. It fit way more than just two of us, great for a family stay.
Location is great - 10 minutes by foot to downtown area & restaurants. Grocery stores 5 minutes away by car or 20 by foot. Big, comfortable kitchen and living room. Every suite has its own separate bathroom.
Great location for exploring the small downtown area. Easy walk to visit the SS Klondike exhibit. Breakfast was not included, but there is an on-site restaurant/bar. The food and service there are good.
good location, walk to "downtown" easily possible, even with snow and ice.
The door signs and room names are cute, the decoration depends on individual taste but fits the theme
Location very central to downtown.
Night staff helped me with suitcase at 4 AM!
room spacious & adequate for my needs. Appreciated coffee making & bath supplies
