Horrible stay, room stunk so bad we had to leave.
Horrible stay, room stunk so bad we had to leave. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but we left after one night, we had to sleep on top of the blankets in all our clothes and still woke up with itchy bites all over our arms.
This hotel has bed bugs and is being run into the ground.
Absolutley disgusting, toilet broken and food and hair, blood stuck to the walls.
I was in tears when we left there. They also charged us more than booking.com stated and $100 damage deposit still had not been returned.

This was an incredible disappointment for our stay.
This was an incredible disappointment for our stay. First we booked on line. Were given a price. Then I was charged much more. It took 15 mins for the staff to change the cost and did not do this easily. Then we were not given any soap. The room was dirty and then we had to ask for blankets.. they were not even on the bed. It took 30 min for them to bring them in the evening waiting to go to bed.

We used to live there and loved our time in Vernon.
We used to live there and loved our time in Vernon. Great getting back to see friends and family. Vernon has a good variety of restaurants and attractions. Since the time we resided in Vernon there is a wonderful trail that follows Kal Lake. The addition of more traffic lights has slowed getting around Vernon a fair amount which will probably be worse come tourist season.

Vernon is a nice place to visit and has lots of shopping if that is what you interested in. Also hiking trails, walking trails and sights to see. Hanging on the beach is also an option. Lots of options.....

We went to golf. Lots of fine courses close by.
We went to golf. Lots of fine courses close by. Unfortunately we left one day early due to the smoke. Loved Vernon. Hated the Riviera Conference Centre. We went down to 30th St. and 30th Ave. Several good restaurants and easily to cab.
Yvonne is so welcoming. The property is so iconic and beautiful, it brings you so much peace and happiness. Beds are comfortable. Views are amazing of Kal lake and Vernon. It's a little gem hidden in the mountain. Hottub with views is also amazing. Breakfast in the morning...delicious! You certainly don't leave hungry! This is my 3rd time staying here and it gets better every time! Thank you so much for having me. Until next time!
This accommodation is fairly basic, but was exceptionally clean and good value. We were travelling with a small dog and Naz did not get the message I had sent at the time of booking until our day of arrival. They have limited pet friendly rooms but he was so accommodating and gave us one of their regular rooms. Should we have the need to stay in Vernon again would not hesitate to book this property again.
This is a standard stay for myself or my family when in Vernon. I've tried other places but we like the Fairfield best. Excellent amenities, good parking, nice rooms and beds, hot tub, pool, and the kids love the slide. Coffee and Tea in the morning at the breakfast bar are good. I would skip the rest of that though.
The price was right, and the location was good. I booked here because competing hotels seemed just as good but for about $40-50 more per night. I learned that you get what you pay for, and there are no more real deals to be had in terms of hotels. If you want better, you have to pay for it.
The location is convenient, close to downtown Vernon within walking distance, a mall of multiple shops and restaurants just across the street as well. Overall, the areas in the hotel is clean and pleasant.
It was really amazing staying at Vernon Hostel, service was very nice and Mr. Balbir was kind enough to guide us with various queries.
Hostel was pretty clean and worth the price.
The property is older, but very well taken care of. The rooms were spotless and the staff very caring and friendly. My wife and I will stay here whenever we’re in Vernon
Wonderful! Incredible view, very well equipped, accommodating host, and great proximity to Silver Star and also Vernon. We could not have asked for anything more.
