Brand new building and everything was impressive. Small touches like coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7, apples at reception desk makes this hotel even more attractive. They do care about their customers

We had a nice visit! Although the parking is a little weird at the hotel, but we were fine. Also since our visit was during Summer, the AC was not enough for the whole place. However, we were gone most of the day, so we survived! We will definitely come back at Sleeping giant BNB for accommodation. Kalabeka Falls and Fort William Historical Park are a few of our favorites! Also the Thunder Bay Lookout at Sleeping Giant Natl Park. :) Mount McKay is also a nice place yo visit! :)

Thunder Bay is close to Sleeping Giant Provincial Park—about an hour’s drive—which is a phenomenal place for hiking at all levels. It’s an easy trip back and forth, and the primary reason I visited Thunder Bay (there are no hotels near the park). I didn’t explore the city-proper very much. It’s easy to drive around. Also seems to have a robust bus system that no one uses! There’s a downtown area with many restaurants and bars, but it wasn’t very busy, even on a weekend night. Best place I ate was a Thai restaurant, Thai Kitchen (11 Cumberland Street), which was excellent.

There aren’t enough hotels and the ones they have that are good book up quickly. The ones left aren’t worth staying in, but it’s too late to get to another town once you realize it. Plan ahead and book early is my advice.

My reason for staying there was STRICTLY medical, not pleasure. I travelled over two thousand miles to get the medical help I needed, because of the FAILURE of the CORPORATE medical mafia (YES, the medical system is the upgraded mafia system) establishment wants to TREAT people but NEVER CURE people as there is no money in "curing" people. They are the LEGAL DRUG DEALERS WITH LICENSE, WITH HORRIFIC SIDE EFFECTS OF THEIR DRUGS. I KNOW, I AM ONE OF THE VICTIMS OF THEIR GREED. For the medical reason, hot tub was a crucial part of my trip and you ALSO failed to tell me that the hot tub was there for the show not for the go. For the proper health benefit, hot tub AND swimming pool go hand in hand! THIS IS FUNDAMENTAL HEALTH CARE!

We went for a family wedding, but should have went earlier to see the sights. We stayed at the Harbour Front and it was gorgeous. Beautiful weather, Lake Superior ! But like every where else, short staffed. Stayed at Delta Marriot, brand new hotel, but restaurant closed for breakfast as no staff. No bar. No snack counter. Starbucks closed at 11am on Saturday and Sunday !!!!! the young people working there were very helpful.

The review of the travel lodge.....
The review of the travel lodge.....The breakfast which was included did not even have a place to sit. The pancake maker was out of order also the personnel was dirty on their clothing this is anadd on to what my wife wrote. I would never recommend that travel lodge to anyone. Gilles Morais
The common areas (lobby, conference rooms, pool/hot tub/sauna) were very nice and recently renovated/updated. The free breakfast was great, particularly being able to order off the menu in a sit-down restaurant rather than a conventional continental breakfast served in a breakfast room. The outside views were spectacular. There was a free EV charger, and we used it extensively for our Tesla.
I didn't like the area. Constantly being begged on. Parking a real issue. Construction had all the streets closed. Apartment was bare bones. Bathroom bare bones. TP holder gone. One very small window, no A/C. I do feel I got what I paid for. It was cheap, but not enjoyable. Another older couple had a very hard time with the stairs and the accommodations.
I was most dissatisfied with the breakfast. I was expecting some ham or bacon or msybe scrambled eggs. That's just one thing that was lacking that similar priced hotels had. What made it WORSE is that when I asked the employee in the kitchen, she actually just LAUGHED like it was a joke. That definitely turned me off.
I didn't like anything it was Disgusting the room stink like it was flooded. Some random guest was outside our broken window smoking and drinking, This was a huge waste of money I paid the same amount for 2 nights in Niagara falls which is super and nice Thunder bay Ramada Inn should be a Embarrassment to you guys
Such a nice place with such nice people!
Aesthetics make you enjoy every minute of it
and stuff makes you feel safe.
I think booking doesn’t mention but
you do have a small but lovely breakfast there.
It was simply enjoyable and
I had the best experience I could even imagine
in The Haven Hostel, Thunder Bay!
Good location close to waterfront. Old court house converted to hotel. Retained all floors and wood trim of court house. Room is nicely decorated. High ceilings and several windows. Our room faced harbour but was partially blocked by a tree. Everything was great and would definitely stay again.
Thunder Bay hotels are generally more expensive than most in other cities, likely because it's a busy central hub for the north.
Valhalla is in the same price range as the other hotels.
The beds are comfortable, the rooms are pretty big, free airport shuttle, close to the airport...
Great hotel room, nice complementary goods such as soap, shampoo/body wash and tea. I ordered food and delivery driver was able to find room easily. The staff were very helpful at the time of arrival. I had a early flight to catch and I enjoyed how close the airport commute was.
Location convenient. There was nice area nearby for a walk in the park by waterfront with memorials to navy veterans and merchant navy. Interesting marina area nearby. Pleasant walk after long day of travel.
Reasonable room rate. Clean tidy room. Good value.
Nothing , it was horrifying and ive tried to reach booking.com with no success. This hotel should be shut down!!! We left and are still trying to contact booking.com The poor young girl at the front desk was the only nice thing about the whole experience.
We had a suite with two queen beds and a pullout sofa. It was spacious, clean, and met all our needs. Check-in was easy and the front-end staff was friendly and professional. I would stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Thunder Bay.
A lot quieter than I expected.
Cheaper than other locations in the area.
The place could use a facelift, but you get what you pay for. Would stay again, mostly as a cost conscious decision.
Rooms are nice! Like the colour scheme of the rooms. I like that there is a fridge and microwave in the room. Hotel staff were great with check-in.
Pool was good & very warm!
