WE went for the balloon fest and were totally awed.

WE went for the balloon fest and were totally awed. At times parking was a problem because there were so many others with the same idea. Without a doubt it was easy to get around the town and the countryside. We photographed a number of the covered bridges in the area and a lot of the countryside. The Pinecone motel where we stayed was very friendly and more than adequate. All in all it was a great trip and we will be making arrangements for next year

Sussex is such a pretty town.

Sussex is such a pretty town. Lots of beautifully painted murals on buildings, lots of pretty flowers around town buildings. Sussex and Sussex Corner have lots of small town charm and character. Drive around and see old covered bridges and farmland everywhere but still only about an hour from St. John and the ocean.

convenient location, lovely little property, clean and well maintained. employees were amazing from the front desk to the lovely ladies cleaning the rooms. breakfast was wonderful (and I like that Frosted Flakes were available for my picky eater) A great little place to meet family from Maine and celebrate a Kingswood University graduation! I love that the front desk staff were so kind to my brother, as he made many trips to the desk just to chat (and replace lost key cards 😂)

Everyone was super friendly, breakfast options were fantastic. The bed and pillows are the most comfy things I've ever slept on. I wish I could have them at home. Made me feel very welcome to be there. It's right off the highway which is great. And theres lots around the hotel for shopping and eating and not to far from downtown sussex either. Great spot for making it our home base for a week!

Very quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Staff was very accommodating when we asked for a quiet room. Breakfast was decent. Well-equipped exercise room with weights was a bonus. Fairly convenient to Fundy Parkway (about 40-50 minute drive). Grocery shopping (Sobey's) across the street. Highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast is amazing, huge portion size, the best I have seen in a motel, with server in a restaurant. The bathroom has fan and heat lamp, a great addition for your amenity. Other great amenity includes fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We enjoy our stays here, with friendly staff, will come again some day.

Beautiful little spot, brings you back to a time when this place was in its hay day. Very kind and friendly owners. They gave us motel #1 so we could park out truck and car trailer on the lawn in front of our room. Will definitely be staying here again when we're back in the Sussex area.

Super friendly staff. Very convenient check-in at late hours. We really liked the flair of Europe/Amsterdam that was brought into the hotel. Very spacious rooms and great breakfast selection. Recommended to explore NB area along the Fundy Bay from here.

Cozy hideaway .. just like stepping into the past. However, by far the best part was the owners. They gave us such a sincere welcome and farewell when we left. You’ll never see anything like it in modern times, truly a gem of a place to stay.

Very peaceful, quiet location. We really like the complimentary breakfast at the adjoining diner. Please continue to provide this, it is a very nice touch of hospitality to invite your hotel guests to the diner. Breakfast was fantastic!

The 1902 house originally belonged to a prominent family that spared no expense to give it a stately appearance, which the current owners have done their best to preserve. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, and breakfast was delightful.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean (loved the tray in the room for dirty shoes - ours were a mess from the day of hiking). Breakfast was great, again super friendly, helpful staff!!
