The guy at the reception was very sweet. Also loved that the room was hardwood floor instead of carpet. It was also very tidy and perfect for one night away from home.

Sudbury is fine but the Quality Inn and the area were deplorable. In addition the lack of service from Booking.com is very disappointing. There is not way to reach customer service unless it is very well hidden on the web. I want my credit as we ended up driving around to find more suitable accommodations that had running hot water

There was lots of different things to do like the Blockbuster escape room at Puzzled Escape Rooms was an absolutely fantastic experience! There are many places to shop like Bay Used Books and The Candy Store as well as the standard mall stores! As for food places I recommend Presotea if you like Bubble tea also Okinawa Sushi and Eastside Mario’s both have delicious food and the staff was so friendly and helpful! The only downside was there were a lot of potholes on the roads we travelled on however getting around the city was easy and everything we wanted to do seemed to only be 10 min from our hotel room so we didn’t waste time driving around a lot! We are already planning our next trip for this summer as we have heard that Science North and Dynamic Earth are worth seeing and we missed a bunch of shopping places on our short trip to Sudbury!

Dynamic earth was a little lacking for what it had to offer for the price, the duo of science north and dynamic earth definitely makes the side trip to dynamic earth worth it. Caught some live music at fionn maccools, food was delicious as always. Costco has gas now, so always a plus if you’re making the trip.

Dirty, frightening, high crime, prostitution and drug use, a lot of homelessness. I couldn’t believe it. I felt very unsafe in this city. Needles everywhere. People approaching me and my vehicle who were clearly intoxicated/high. Assaults taking place on sidewalks. People urinating in public. I pulled over to set my gps and a prostitute propositioned me! There was garbage all over. I went to a fast food place and struck up a conversation with the employee who asked why I had come to Sudbury because they were shocked. He told me to leave and never look back! 😱

Hotel was clean, room nice and clean.
It was only on night stay, but I enjoyed a swimming pool (water was great). Swimming pool is located on 1st Level, it is lower then Lobby.
No walking in swimming pool around lobby level, just from elevators to swimming pool.
Morning breakfast was very tasty and a lot to choose from.

Sudbury downtown had a wide variety of shops, restaurants; all just 8 minutes from the Motel 6 Sudbury. I would love to have stayed longer to take in more of the beautiful rugged scenery and touristy sites in Sudbury.
Everything about this hotel was close to perfect considering the price of the room.
From the very moment we enter the hotel was clean and neat! We felt welcome by the friendly staff who checked us in. The room was clean and cozy but the bed could've been little more comfier.
Their free breakfast was one of the best! It was fresh l, with lots of choices and were delicious. The staff responsible for breakfast were friendly and hard working.
They also have a gym and pool which I didn’t have the chance to use.
The snow storm caused terrible car accidents and high way was forced to close, so we stuck on the way to hotel and also passed the deadline for free cancellation. So we called and explained our situation, the gentleman quickly cancelled the booking with the waiver, we were happy for quick response, we definitely strongly recommend this place with putting up the customer interest first.
The Perkins restaurant, which is part of the hotel, was great. Hotel patrons received an extra ten percent discount off of their food bill. The staff in the
Hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and courteous! For patrons who like to swim there is a pool included in the hotel. The facility is within walking distance to the Sudbury hospital and Science North.
This hotel looks rather dismal, but it was everything needed for an overnight along a highway. Location perfect right at junction of the transcanada highway. It was clean, the staff was pleasant. The wifi was good. I thought the price high, but they have to make a living and it seems all motels are now a hundred bucks! no complaints.
Centrally located to the downtown core. Staff was friendly and polite. Our room was clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, our stay was excellent and will stay there the next time in Sudbury.
The breakfast was delicious and fresh. As for the location, our vehicle tire was slashed and so were three other vehicles parked in front of the Best Western front desk. Total cost to repair tire was over the cost of our hotel costs.
Took the family to Science North in Sudbury. We did get a one-bedroom unit, which was just down the hall from the pool, so our son was happy about that. the Hotel was just down the road from Science North. That's it for like.
Basic, outdated hotel. Kind staff. Welcoming lobby and breakfast included. Decent location for getting to downtown sudbury, but also a bit awkward to get to under the highway and on a dark, secluded street
During our cross Canada trip, we had the best breakfast here, especially the staffs in the restaurant, super nice and good service. The room is very quite and clean. Will come back again~
