Unexpectedly cute and clean little town.
Unexpectedly cute and clean little town. Quite a few modern type establishments. Great little coffee shop in town centre. You have to try Two Sisters for healthy yummy food! The Mexican restaurant by the railway tracks is awesome. It is a mini Jasper or Banff.

It is a larger town with all the services you need.
I stopped at the Royal Canadian Legion was not busy. The bar maid was very friendly. Told me where to get Chinese food. It was ok not the best I have had. Lots of 4 way stops on main street
The Lodge is located up in the hills above Smithers, quite a way off the highway, although it's not hard to get to. The building is a large, beautifully-built log structure with an expansive great-room style common area. The hosts, Yelena and Mark, were very welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. The lodge is very quiet at night. The breakfast, served in the high-ceilinged log and stone great room, was wonderful.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the sound of the river from our patio. Very clean and comfortable. Firewood well-stocked. Would have been nice to have coffee in the room and to see refillable shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers instead of single use. Overall it was a lovely stay and a great value compared to hotels in Smithers.
The friendliness and service of the staff took this stay over the top! The hotel itself is a cross between a hotel and a cozy bed and breakfast. The owner of the establishment makes eggs to order from 6am - 9am and serves them up with friendly, genuinely thoughtful conversation with the guests. Absolutely wonderful stay
The family suite room was huge it had a full kitchen including everything that was needed to make and eat dinner since we got in late and apparently Smithers "rolled up yhe sidewalks at 6!" Bathroom felt almost luxurious you could use the family Suite as a base of operations for your adventures in the smithers area
The family that owns and runs this hotel is amazing... we are treated like family.
Can't say enough good things .. breakfast is always delicious 😋
Even gets us all our ski & stay discounts for the mountain.
Won't stay anywhere else in town ! This is our spot !!
A great perk about this hotel is that it central to walk into the village and very close proximity to main strip and restaurants.
Value was excellent and I wish I had a chance to experience breakfast because they prepare the eggs for you.
Very pleasant host. The building itself is incredible - cool log cabin vibes with great views overlooking the fields and mountains around Smithers. Clean and comfortable. Also cute touch to have berries from the home garden for breakfast.
The hotel is central and next to a Tandoori restaurant with excellent food. The EV charging station is only 10 minutes walk away and the hotel receptionist told us our car would be safe there for the night - she was right.
The hospitality from the owner operators was exceptional. The location was peaceful with fabulous views of the Smithers Valley. The breakfast was excellent each morning. High quality and high value establishment.
The staff on arrival was very friendly. The room was nice and clean. There is a park next door, which is nice when traveling with a pet. The Tim Hortons is right next to the hotel, which is easy for breakfast.
I went to Smithers to spend the night and hit the Hudson Bay Mountain for snowboarding. The room was super cheap, clean, and beds were comfortable. Can't complain for the price.
The staff was exceptional and extremely helpful. My stay was relaxing and I will 100% be recommending this hotel to lots of people. It was also very clean. I'm very impressed.
The hosts are very friendly and made us feel at home. The setting and scenery are spectacular. A 10 min drive from downtown smithers. Would highly recommend
