It’s location and access to grouse mountain, lynn canyon park. The kitchen is well stocked to provide breakfast, just wish they property management ensures that expired food products are routinely thrown out so guests don’t end up accidentally eating stale and some low-quality products.

We like the fact there is a door code so you can arrive at any time. We came from the airport and let ourselves in at 12:30 am.
It’s only 15 minute drive from Horseshoe Bay ferry.
It’s very homey and the beds and pillows are super comfortable!!!

The property’s location is spectacular, as the Seymour River borders the back yard. We slept with the window open each night so we could listen to it.
The room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. The bathroom linens and supplies were refreshed each day while we were out.
Our host was very friendly, and served a very tasty breakfast selection each day. We really enjoyed chatting with Michael over our “bottomless“ pot of coffee.

Love North Vancouver and the proximity to the mountains, North Vancouver areas and the beautiful views. There are many places that could be visited, but I prefer to go further North or East, if not downtown Vancouver. The traffic over Lions Gate bridge at Rush Hour is terrible, and recommend travelling in a different time if possible.

The house is new and clean.
The house is new and clean. Owner (Michael) is so nice, you can socialize with him pleasantly. The place's view is amazing. Water is running 7x24 in the river stream, which you can see from your rooms. North Vancouver is for people loving outdoor activities such as hiking and going to beaches. The house is not far (15-minute driving) from the downtown of Vancouver.

For a quick staycation we had friends coming from the island...
For a quick staycation we had friends coming from the island as well as the valley and decided North Van would be a good middle distance. We had few expectations and assumed we would be shopping and sipping drinks with good friends. It turned out that it was very easy to get around between sea bus to down town and bussing up to the parks. The shipyards area and lower lonsdale is rich with great little stores and non-chain restaurants which was such a treat.SeanCanada - 8.0Scored 8.0

I've stayed here numerous times before and was surprised to be booked in a very small basement bedroom . There was no air conditioning in the room but only an open basement window. Not impressed considering the number of previous bookings. North Vancouver is a lovely area just across the bay from Downtown Vancouver. Easy access across the bay via the regular ferry gives you the best of everything. North Vancouver seems a nice safe neighbourhood with a nice choice of bars and restaurants. You also have easy access to the hills and mountains where there are some great walks and stunning scenery.

We chose it because we have family in the area but they do not have space to put us up. Having been many times since 1997 there are few places we have not visited. This time chose to visit Grouse Mountain again and Deep Cove. Went to the Shipyards on a Friday evening and dined at the Tap and Barrel. The bus services are excellent.SheilaUnited Kingdom

Unfortunately when we checked in to the room there were several small black hairs all over toilet. The front desk obviously sent someone up but after we had just checked in after driving in from Kelowna it was a bit inconvenient but it was promptly taken care of. Was Not aware that there was No parking for hotel. It's underground public parking and was $30 a DAY!........... The market & amazing staff and great location were highly appreciated!

The kitchen, although small, had the all of the basic necessities required. I found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. My room door wasn't locking and they promptly took care of this. I love the location on Capiliano Rd as well. Easy access to downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver.
