For a quick staycation we had friends coming from the island as well as the valley and decided North Van would be a good middle distance. We had few expectations and assumed we would be shopping and sipping drinks with good friends. It turned out that it was very easy to get around between sea bus to down town and bussing up to the parks. The shipyards area and lower lonsdale is rich with great little stores and non-chain restaurants which was such a treat.

I've stayed here numerous times before and was surprised to be booked in a very small basement bedroom . There was no air conditioning in the room but only an open basement window. Not impressed considering the number of previous bookings. Otherwise the facilities met with our previous expectations. lovely view and great kitchen facilities with several breakfast options.

North Vancouver is a lovely area just across the bay from Downtown Vancouver. Easy access across the bay via the regular ferry gives you the best of everything. North Vancouver seems a nice safe neighbourhood with a nice choice of bars and restaurants. You also have easy access to the hills and mountains where there are some great walks and stunning scenery.

We chose it because we have family in the area but they do not have space to put us up.
Having been many times since 1997 there are few places we have not visited. This time chose to visit Grouse Mountain again and Deep Cove. Went to the Shipyards on a Friday evening and dined at the Tap and Barrel.
The bus services are excellent.

North Vancouver was not the problem.
North Vancouver was not the problem.
The location I booked was sold as a B&B. It was not a B&B I have experienced. It was more a hostel. The room had very old furniture, ditty window, blinds and curtains. The kitchen had boxes and boxes of cereals open I don't know since when! A fruits bowl with green bananas and apples. I had asked for gluten free breakfast and never got a reply.

First night standard room was small and the air conditioner kept us up all night so changed to an executive room which was slightly larger with a quite air conditioner and a view for $50.00 more a night. The hotel needs a remodel. But the location was excellent with the ferry and bus station beside the hotel and lots of shops and restaurants on the first level. You can take the airport train to Vancouver centre and the Lonsdale Quay ferry right to the hotel, inexpensive .
I did not even enter the kitchen. I did not take a shower. There were too many people meandering about. It felt like a dorm room. We did get one of the nicest rooms with a view, the bed was comfy, room clean, and the wifi worked well and there is plenty of parking. Don't count on owner helping you out. Would have paid a few extra dollars to stay in an actual hotel.
The location was perfect to explore Caplilano, Grouse Mountain, Whistler and get to the ferry terminal. Also, downtown North Vancouver has a lot of restaurants to choose from, an easy drive from motel. I can't remember the last time that I stayed in a motel but it was fine. Not luxurious but we opted for a cheaper place to stay. No complaints.
The location was perfect for our needs, which included visiting friends in North Vancouver. The room was spacious and well appointed, and had a wonderful and secluded view of the Seymore RIver. The hosts were welcoming; the breakfast was hearty and delicious; and the price was extremely reasonable for Vancouver and the amenities provided.
Located in a peaceful area at North Vancouver and near to some tourist attraction in North Vancouver (Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse mountain).
Easy to travel by bus since the bus stop very close to Hotel. Breakfast was okay.
From some room there is partial mountain view.
The proprietors were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good although only sweet options were available. The location of the B&B is perfect if you plan on hiking in North Vancouver. It is about a 30 min ride per bus into Downtown which is also good.
The hotel is very clean and the location is close to shops and restaurants. It is also a short walk to the pier where you can see city skyline. The breakfast is delicious. The hotel staff are very professional particularly the crew who work in the restaurant.
Hotel had an excellent service staff, reception and facilities. Beds and pillows are really comfortable. We order breakfast to our room and the food fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back if visit Vancouver again. Thank you.
The location was perfect for us visiting family in North Vancouver. The little town of Edgemont is great for unique gift shopping as well as groceries. The suite was clean, quiet and comfortable. The price is reasonable too.

Sea to sky highway to Whistler , Squamish and Garibaldi provincial Park
The staff were terrific. The location is perfect in the Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Our room had a great view out over the Burrard Inlet.
The location is exceptional. The property is like a lovely park, trees a small waterfall and lots of grassed areas.
The hotel is lovely, quiet and has all the amenities.
Nice and clean. Friendly staff. The location was great.
I didn't spend much time at the hotel but the pool looked good and there was food avaliable at the hotel.
Its a nice location not far from downtown. Easy access on the bus if you are commuting, and if you are goin back to the hotel the bus stop is infront of it.
