A small town with most amenities but hours of operation are shorter than in bigger cities. Beautiful scenery and outdoor activities are plentiful. Selection of non-fast-food eateries could be improved significantly.

This is a friendly, clean and happening place.
This is a friendly, clean and happening place. There are basic community needs such as groceries etc. , lovely little shoppes as well as big box stores.
Mile long boardwalk on Lake Temiskaming waterfront with beach and playgrounds and outdoor seating at an excellent local restaurant. Several unique natural sites as well as theatre and sports facilities.
Great place to visit or live.
There was no breakfast and the Hotel room met our requirements. Getting INTO the room was another problem!!!!! There was no step to assist a person getting into the room. The entrance was so high from the ground to the floor of the room, that I fell attempting to get into it and am still nursing a cut arm, and numerous bruises. My husband suggested they remedy this but nothing was done during our 3 day stay. Will, not recommend this Inn to anyone.
It was close to a grocery store, bank, and two gas stations. It's very close to the main highway without being loud, which makes it a great checkpoint. Utilities were clean and functional. The WiFi was excellent - I have stayed in three-star hotels in Toronto that had worse coverage than this place. The Fiat logo in the shower was a cute detail. Price was great.
We arrived at The Auberge by snowmobile are were able to park right at our hotel room, amazing!
There is a restaurant right out front of the hotel and another across the road, perfect!
Fueling up my sled was also perfect as the gas station is an Esso station and located right next door!
PERFECT FOR ALL MY SNOWMOBILING TRIP AND STAY!

The room we stayed in looked very clean, the bed was very clean and comfortable, the washroom is a little outdated but still very clean. I liked the passcode entry for your hotel room, customer service was excellent! couldn’t be any better, all do I wish I didn’t need to stay on the phone for 10min for service.
This is an older hotel that has gone through major upgrades to the rooms, I was very pleased with the room and it wAS VERY CLEAN. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN IF I WAS IN THE CITY AGAIN. I was very tired after driving for 9 hours and fell asleep very easily.
It’s a good little place to stay if you don’t mind not having any luxuries. Its nice that it had a mini fridge, microwave, hot plate and keurig machine in our room as most hotels don’t provide most of these appliances. Owner was friendly.
I like that it was keyless entry, no need to check in at the reception, and when I call the hotel, the gentleman on the phone, was polite and answered all my questions.
