A small town with most amenities but hours of operation are shorter than in bigger cities. Beautiful scenery and outdoor activities are plentiful. Selection of non-fast-food eateries could be improved significantly.

This is a friendly, clean and happening place.
This is a friendly, clean and happening place. There are basic community needs such as groceries etc. , lovely little shoppes as well as big box stores. Mile long boardwalk on Lake Temiskaming waterfront with beach and playgrounds and outdoor seating at an excellent local restaurant. Several unique natural sites as well as theatre and sports facilities. Great place to visit or live.TynaCanada

There was no step to assist a person getting into the room. The entrance was so high from the ground to the floor of the room, that I fell attempting to get into it and am still nursing a cut arm, and numerous bruises. My husband suggested they remedy this but nothing was done during our 3 day stay. Will, not recommend this Inn to anyone.BBETTYCanada

It's very close to the main highway without being loud, which makes it a great checkpoint. Utilities were clean and functional. There is a restaurant right out front of the hotel and another across the road, perfect! Fueling up my sled was also perfect as the gas station is an Esso station and located right next door! I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN IF I WAS IN THE CITY AGAIN. I was very tired after driving for 9 hours and fell asleep very easily.
