It is close to the crazy creek hot pools, amazing view of the mountains, the outdoor fireplace, the log to chop wood, the tree house, double decker beds and the arrangement of the items around the cabin are nice. So was having the fireplace on when we arrived and reading the personalized sign by the door. Couch and sofa bed are super comfy.

Beautiful location ~ a lot of work has been done to the grounds since last year. The restaurant and cafeteria were open and served great home style meals.

Malakwa is a very small place, but a convenient area to stay if you want to avoid the complications of a city. There's a convenience/grocery store and a small cafe that serves home cooking. For history buffs there's an interesting attraction commemorating the "Last Spike" (completion of the railroad).
