The people were all very friendly and helpful. The Parc des Chutes de la Petite-Riviere-Bostonnais is exceptional and should not be missed. La Tuque is a self-contained community and has all the services required to provide its citizens with the necessities to live there plus the sporting and recreational facilities for their enjoyment. It also has a good variety of shops, restaurants and bars.

It was useful, therefore, to have a restaurant on site which was acceptable. The hotel is like a motel in the way that you park up just outside the door to your room.
