La Malbaie is a beautiful destination with historic buildings. The Fairmont is spectacular. Scenery is incredible. Would highly recommend. We do not speak French but that was not an issue anywhere we went. It is very easy to get around with a lovely walkway along the St Lawrence

La Malbaie is a very nice little city.
La Malbaie is a very nice little city. It's not commercialized like the big cities. We see nature everywhere we go. Mountains, lakes, river we see all of them. The route 138 is fantastic with a lot of interesting places to see.
We would recommend the trip to our friends and probably we will plan to come back. We love Quebec!

The staffs in reception are nice and professional but the staffs in its restaurant are horrible! We didnt see we are welcomed with their attitude. They insisted to set up our table in a urgly corner and far from western family in table with river view.
The suite we booked cost 900CAD/night and they offered us a room in the corner of the first floor without any view except the messy sidewalk/yard. The room service is not good, 3.5h waiting for their bringing towel and blanket.

La Malbaie is a great point from which to explore further. We went to Tadoussac in an easy day trip from here. We were able to walk to supper in the main dining area which was a nice option. There are lots of restaurants to chose from.

Although there is not village/center in this city, there are excellent restaurants, large parks to see closed by.Very good hospitality.
L'auberge des trois canards has excellent Table d'hote", but overpriced
rooms with dated decor.

La Malbaie is just a wonderful place.
La Malbaie is just a wonderful place. The views are absolutely beautiful. The local eateries are great and even though we do not speak French the people are very helpful. It really is a piece of heaven.
The staff are very friendly and will do almost everything to get you the best comfort in the motel. So don't be afraid to ask them if something is wrong or not as expected. Most of the room are completely renoved, beds are very comfy.
Home cozy hotel. We traveled to Tadoussac and stay only one night. The place is great, quiet and beautiful. Room was big, and beds was incredibly comfy. Parking for free and breakfast included. Amazing staff, special thanks to Nadia.
The hotel is located centrally. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything was just perfect! The girl in the reception was very helpful 👌 I would recommend this little hotel to everyone.
I liked the rural feel of the location. Well maintained garden, in a quiet neighborhood. One can see the river from the garden. A vehicle or a bicycle is needed to get to La Malbaie.
The hotel conveys an authentic sense of old Quebec. The old mansion is very well renovated, decorated and overlook at the Bay. The Host is very friendly and breakfast is very good.
The view on the St-Laurent from our room balcony was gorgeous. The hotel was very clean and the staff were respectful and helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor spa and lounge areas.
Location of hotel within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Very comfortable bed and good continental breakfast served to your room the next morning.
