Absolutely love the cabins with the wood burning stove! The staff Tom & Kristen were incredible and super helpful with any questions we needed.

This was our first stay at Paradise Lodge and Bungalows. When we entered the cabin, it was a "wow" moment for us. Cozy, clean, nicely decorated, newer furnishings, a comfortable bed and an awesome bathroom with a deep tub (my wife loves to bathe in the evening) in addition to a standalone shower. My wife said I did a great job in picking a place to stay. I didn't do a great job, the owners and staff did a remarkable job! I have already recommended this place to others planning to visit the area.

Good location. Very friendly helpful staff. A big well equipped kitchen with big tables for eating. Useful onsite laundry at $4 a load for washing , another $4 for drying.
Smallish room with nowhere to store clothes but that’s ok- it’s a hostel .
Located 20 minutes’ drive from Lake Louise in an isolated setting, this hostel offers shared kitchen facilities and a wood heated sauna. Cross-country and backcountry skiing are available on site.

Lake Louise is a beautiful picturesque area of Banff that is easily accessible off the Trans Canada not far from Calgary airport.
The town has limited accommodations and during peak season can be difficult to secure a room, so book early.
During the winter months the proximity of the town to the ski resorts is great, and the Moraine Lake snowshoe hike is beautiful.
For a closer and more convenient experience, skating and walking on Lake Louise is an amazing experience, and with the Chateau ice bar at your disposal, a perfect way to enjoy nature without needing to venture off the beaten path.
The Lake Louise Inn has a wonderful full service restaurant that serves some off the chart, top notch pizza's with local brews if that's your way to enjoy it.
Breakfast is available at most of the hotels I've stayed in, inquire when booking, it may be included with your stay.
Summer, well, it's busy...! Be prepared too wait in lineups, and book your spot for the tour bus to the lake early.

We did not realise that their was a shuttle bus to the ski resort. This would have been great for us, as the walk from the car park to the ski area is a considerable distance if you do not get there early.

I love Lake Louise, it is beautiful!
I love Lake Louise, it is beautiful! The village has a lot to offer any level tourist/traveler. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. The prices are quite high and really do need to be reduced in the tourist shops. It has world class skiing and unmatched natural beauty.

Amazing place to visit even in Winter (late Nov), all the christmas decorations were up, we still walked 1/2 way around the lake. Fairmont Chateu upgraded us to top floor lake view room, we watched the sun come up over Lake Louise....that was very special. Not much else to do in Lake Louise at winter if you don't ski. Lake Louise Village is nothing. Bow Valley Parkway is just beautiful. Do Johnston Canyon but definitely need cleats if there is snow on the ground as the paths become very slippery. Try get there at 10am or before as less people. By lunch time it is very busy.

The views are awesome so draws hordes of people.
The views are awesome so draws hordes of people. Found it to be extremely crowded. Must travel by bus to Lake Morraine and if you drive to Lake Louise, expect to pay $20 for parking. Free after 7:00 PM.

Give in and book the shuttle bus at least a few days ahead.
Give in and book the shuttle bus at least a few days ahead. Either that or plan on driving up to the lake before 8am - probably before 7am in July or August - if you hope to be able to park at the lake. Actually, book the shuttle bus anyway, even if you're going to try and park.
Really bad news is that there is a lack of publicly accessible facilities at the lake. Given how much the Chateau Lake Louise has been allowed to expand over the years, there really should be publicly accessible restaurants.
As for the scenery, well it is still a pretty place but with the glaciers almost gone it doesn't compare to what it was even 30 years ago. There are more beautiful places to go in Canada.
Came here for a bachelorette and honestly the kitchenette in our room was a huge sell. It was really nice to have for late night snacks and for cooking ourselves some breakfast before we went out for the day. The location of the inn was also nice since it was close to Lake Louise, Morraine Lake and the ski lifts. We also walked around the area and explored some bars from another hotel across the street that were really nice too. Loved the location, free and easy parking, and worth it for the price. Would definitely stay here again :)
Excellent location to see sunrise or sunset on Lake Louise or Moraine Lake. If you do not care which lake to see at sunrise, head to Lake Luise first, as the parking is free until 7 am, and then head to Morain lake as parking is free there all the time (although, the parking there is very limited, so do not wait until it's too late). Or, stay in this hotel for two nights and head to Lake Louise in one morning, and to Lake Moraine in another.
The breakfast was great and well organized.
The hotel was very cute. The rooms were like little cabins. We had a river view with multiple fire pits and adirondack chairs to sit and watch the river and sunset. We met a lot of other guests by making a campfire. it was a lot of fun. There was not a restaurant. There was a small "store" to buy packaged food and they did have a little coffee barista to make coffee. They had a gym and laundry facilites as well. The fresh bag of coffee they gave you at check in was delicious.
It has a convenient and accessible location to Lake Louise -- the main attraction. The team even surprised us with some snacks and a handwritten card for our honeymoon. The room itself was spacious and clean, with strong water pressure for the shower. The included breakfast exceeded expectations, the DIY waffle making experience was fun for the both of us, coupled with real maple syrup
The hotel is set in a beautiful location with great access to the village. It is also easy to walk to Lake Louise from the Prost hotel (4km up hill).
The hotel feels very comfortable and the staff and great.
The rooms are big and the beds are really comfy. I also like that they all have balcony’s.
The post pub is also great - good food and selection of beverages.
The hotel is right on Lake Louise the location doesn't get any better than that! The hotel itself is grand just like most other fairmont hotels. Restaurants were also great with a good view and great food, and I felt they were reasonably priced. The manager, Nick, was incredible and thoughtful, he made the stay a lot more enjoyable!
Great place to stay to see a unique treasure -Moraine Lake - without all the daytime crowds around. Nice cabins with wood fires and lovely views. The food was first class and although the accomodation is expensive, dinner was reasonably priced and a cooked breakfast is included.
Fantastic location deep in the park between Lake Louise and Banff. Cabins perched in idyllic spot on river, surrounded by peaks and forest. Fire pits by the river were a hit with the family, with logs supplied free and forks to toast smores. What more can you ask for!
Very cozy and rustic place. Perfect location for our road trip to Jasper. I liked how the rooms were small cabins near the main cabin with the fireplace and the kitchen. The toilets were outside but they were super clean. Bring a head flashlight for nighttime.
Property is right by lake Louise, making it easy to access hiking trails and amenities. Dinner was available right on the property, our looking the lake. Supplies for hiking were available if needed and the staff were very accommodating.
Stayed in the 'Temple' Wing, which on a -40C night was still warm - the older parts of the hotel apparently had issues.
Had dinner in the famous window as one of us had worked many years ago in the hotel - desserts on the house too.
A great location on the way to Lake Louise. We never drove to the Lake, we just walked the twenty minutes. The Cabins were very comfortable. The kitchen was so nice we cooked several meals in the cabin and then ate on our deck.
Comfortable and quiet room, nice living room and good facilities (kitchen, lockers, laundry).
Useful information about the local bus to lake Louise (price: CAD 2), which stops just in front of the hostel.
Grand Inn in the mountains Lake Louise is one if the prettiest places l have ever been and theLake Louise Inn supports it with a warm welcome cheerful efficient staff and the bedt pastries l had in Canada
I ate in the Deer Lodge restaurant both nights I stayed there and dinners were superb. "Braised Elk Shank", how can you say "No" to such a unique offering!
Views around the Lodge are spectacular.
Location is very good that is only 4 minites by drive to Lake Louise. And they also provide private shattle reservation to Lake Moraine! Staff in this hotel are very kind and friendly.
Staying at the Post Hotel is immersing yourself in luxury. It's an experience more than a stay and it brings back memories of winter holidays in Austria. Wonderful!
The location can’t be beat. It is walkable to Lake Louise. The restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and dinner. It is a rustic hotel with a lot of charm.
