Very difficult to get a hole of someone to check in. Restaurant unexpectedly closed while we were there. No communication from the host. Everything outside was very dirty - the stairs leading to our room, the outside table and chairs. The room was okay - the size was good, the sitting area size was good but the couch was very uncomfortable. No amenities whatsoever. Towels were very rough. No option for breakfast at the place eventhough it was requested - again no communication from the host.

The cozy B&B was spick and span, and the hearty breakfast was excellent. Normand, the owner/cook/housekeeper, obviously takes pride in his work, and it shows in every aspect of his B&B. Plus, he has a great sense of humour and was a pleasure to chat with -- he had plenty of insights to share about Jonquière and its surroundings. I would definitely stay here again!
