Gaspé was much more scenic than I thought it would be.
Gaspé was much more scenic than I thought it would be. There were many very large hills that were much steeper and dramatic than anticipated. The views were spectacular! In a very short trip we saw whales surfacing along the coast, several waterfalls cascading down rock cliffs along the highway, and countless picturesque villages and vistas. I would highly recommend driving along the Gaspé coast, but the interior drives are also very impressive. The drive from Quebec City to Gáspe is quite long (around 8 hours), so bear this in mind!

The Gaspe area is spectacular . Although it rained on our trip it didn't hinder our enjoyment .
Most of the folks we met and all service staff were bilingual and this was so nice as we don't speak French .
The restaurants are good ! Try the Cod it is delicious .
Be prepared to walk up and down some hills if you go exploring .
Gaspe is another of Canada's treasures

A lovely and scenic little town in the Gaspe.
A lovely and scenic little town in the Gaspe. The town and vicinity has a fascinating history dating back hundreds of years. Forillon National Park is a short distance away and has wonderful walking trails with spectacular scenery. There is a multitude of activities if you enjoy the outdoors, from sailing, sea kayaking, whale watching, and hiking. There are also fine restaurants for relaxing in the evening.

The trip was great.
The trip was great. I loved the route, it was scenic and great for motorcycles. The views were beautiful and the rolling hills and twisty roads were made for bikes! I would do the route again at a slower Pace and spend more time in some communities. The only thing missing in two of our stays was air
Conditioning and it was very warm.
Everything is self-help mode (except the Secret Café), and with the shared kitchen, shared bathroom, it's very convenient. A huge playground with mountain view on one side, river and sunset view on the other. They also let you use the bike. The staff is not there sometimes, but responsive via phone. There's a bus service running between Gaspé and the community, but only from Monday to Friday and only one service to go and come back in a day, to check the Gaspesia tourism website for details.
Close to a great walking path (Cap Gaspé) in a small village. The place is great, welcoming, with nice rooms, comfy bed, helpful staff, clean and nice common washrooms and showers. The kitchen and dining room are huge and really nice, with everything that's needed - including a grill outside. Overall, one of the best places we stayed in Québec!
Perfect place to stay for a big group. We were a group of 6 people (including two teenagers), so having four bedrooms was ideal for us. The kitchen was well-equipped for making breakfast and the city center of Gaspé was a short walk from the house.
When we forgot some items, the host was kind enough to send them back to me by Canada Post.
Incredible service and wiliness to help, particularly when I had flight and transportation issues to get the town.
The hotel design is classic, and amazingly clean. Supplies cover all my needs, including good coffee, tea, fridge and utensils, Bathroom cosmetics as well. Internet worked very well for work.
Amazing location, close to everything in Gaspé and not too far from Percé.
Very clean, and well equipped kitchen, laundry/bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable.
Would definitely stay there again should I visit the area once more in the future!
I loved the new renovations. My room had just been finished and I must say it looks great and I was very comfortable. The next time I go to Gaspé to visit my sister and my mother, I will make sure to book at the Rodeway Inn. Thanks so much! :)
I showed up very early in the middle of a rainstorm and the staff let me leave my things there while I explored down town. Very nice, comfortable rooms. The Orlean express bus also leaves from the hotel and you can manage your booking there.
location could not even better. our room had the best view. perfect hotel for watching sunrise right from your room or common deck. rooms were carpet free, huge and big and clean bathrooms. i wish i had time to stay at this hotel more.
The room was basic but quite spacious. There is plenty of parking. The room was quite quiet at night. Within a short (but quite steep) walking distance from the centre of town. A good place from which to explore the area around Gaspé.
Gaspe is a beautiful town and this motel is steps away from restaurants, the bay and stores. Location is no issue at all, the views are outstanding. This does not make up for the overall experience of this hotel.
