The town of Alma is small and walking distance to several restaurants and the convenience store/gas station. I ate at 3 restaurants and the food was really good, reasonably priced and friendly service. The Alpine Inn has the view of the boats that sit on the ocean floor at low tide and rise at high tide. You can walk a short distance away and walk on the ocean floor there as well. The wifi is not good in the room. I have mobile data so this was not a huge issue for me. Alma is about a 35 minute drive to Hopewell rocks. We also drove the Fundy Tail Parkway, the entrance is close to Alma. There are amazing views and look outs as well as a suspension bridge over Salmon River. I would stay here again if in the area.

All amenities within walking distance. People very friendly.
All amenities within walking distance. People very friendly. Short drive to Hopewell rocks which are absolutely amazing, a must see. Drove thru the Fundy National Park, beautiful spot, next time would spend more time to walk thru the park. We ate at the Parkland Inn restaurant and the Muddy Rudder, had seafood and it was excellent.

Alma is a lovely little fishing village right next to Fundy National Park. Plenty of places to eat and relax outside. Be sure to stay at least a couple of days. Cape Enrage is a few minutes drive away, a must to see. Lots of beaches but they are very tidal. When the tide is in its way in and when it goes out, long, long way out. Hiking, kayaking, bird watching, it’s all there for nature and adventure lovers. Great place to stay, locals are very friendly and helpful.

Cute town. Holy Whale was cool.
Cute town. Holy Whale was cool. Old church turned into a brewery. Kelly’s Bake Shop had delicious sticky buns. Most restaurants unfortunately seemed to close early. Alma has an adorable harbour. Great location to stay if exploring Fundy National Park!

Very nice little village with good restaurants.
Very nice little village with good restaurants. Located just outside Fundy National Park with easy access to day trips for hiking trails. Unfortunately when we were there there was no fishing season open so we were not able to see the small fishing fleet leaving and returning.
We had many commodities in our room. Microwave, fridge, electric fireplace that was very useful because we had 2 days of rain while we were in Alma. We didi not meet anyone in person on site but it was easy to contact them if had any questions or if we need anything. Table and chairs in front of your cottage was nice to have even if the view was a bit disappointing. We had the BEST lobster rolls at the FUNDY Take out restaurant. Tipsie Tail restaurant is also an excellent choice. Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park is absolutely STUNNING :)
We loved this inn in Alma. It was clean and comfortable and served as a base for us to explore Fundy National Park, Hopewell Rocks, and other nearby sites. It's also just steps away from shops and restaurants in town. The staff person who checked us in was friendly, professional and super helpful and helped make our stay a delight! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit in Alma.
The cottage we stayed in was lovely! Very clean and comfortable with a little electric fireplace that kept us warm in the cool nights. The kitchenette was nicely stocked with everything we needed to make simple breakfasts. The location was also great within the town of Alma which offered a number of restaurants, a craft brewery, and a 🧁 .
This isn’t a super Luxurious hotel , This is your basic small town hotel . It has everything you need ( but air conditioning) we didn’t know this until we arrived. It was 90 out and still cool in our room to sleep . AND if you are in Alma .. u definitely don’t want to spend all your time in the room !!! So book your stay here
This end unit was quiet and felt tucked away from the hubbub of tourist traffic and long weekend revellers and yet within walking distance to every restaurant, shop and bay lookout in Alma.
The ability to park near the entry, a little deck with chairs and the fact that there was a ramp and welcome greeting were super!
We arrived early but were able to enter the room. The room was wonderful, better than the pictures. Simply said, it was cozy. We had a room overlooking the inlet. The room was quiet and in the middle of Alma. Alma is a small city, but has everything we needed and was next to the Acadia Park.
Clean, well equipped rooms with small kitchenette. Great view of the marina to see the high and low tides. Within walking distance of many restaurants, Alma beach, and a few shops! Just down the road from an excellent bakery for morning coffee and treats!
Check in was seamless. The location was walking distance from all of the locations in the town. The Alma Lobster shop was just behind the property and we were able obtain an excellent meal right after check in. We will definitely be coming back.
The location of the hotel was the best part, centrally in Alma close to Fundy National Park and Hopewell Rocks. Also closed to all shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were super friendly and efficient. Size of the room was great.
We enjoyed our stay in Alma at this inn. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In spite of the size of the room, it was sufficient for us for a couple nights.
The location can't be beat.
Could not have asked for a better location. Located right in the center of Alma, with lounge chairs to view the tidal swings - it was just perfect. Room was a bit dated, but given the price, we had no complaints!
The ladies at reception were lovely.
The location in the cute town of Alma was great.
The property was on a waterfront so we could walk to the waterfront to see the tides.
The room was clean and cozy. We had a covered deck which was nice as it rained one day but we could still sit outside. It was walking distance to everything in Alma.
The location of Alma Suites is excellent - an easy walk to the beach and all of Alma's restaurants. The room is large, the shower is good and the wifi is excellent.
