One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served at Restaurace Farma. The culinary offerings were a true delight, with a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes that tantalized my taste buds each morning. The stylish ambiance of the restaurant added to the dining experience, making each meal feel like a special occasion. In addition to the exceptional dining options, the breathtaking views from my room were simply mesmerizing. Waking up to the sight of towering mountains and lush forests was a surreal experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and inspired. The pension's private spa was another standout feature, providing a sanctuary of relaxation and tranquility. I love Špindl, excellent place to relax at any time of the year. Village is very cosy, lots of nice accommodations, restaurants, easy to rent the skis or bike. Excellent for hiking, skiing, biking. Of course, not comparable to big ski resorts in the Alps, but small and cosy, almost empty during the working days of the week (if it's not schools'ski vacation). It's not so high in altitude (the top is 1230m), so snow conditions need to be good in order to enjoy the slopes.

Špindlerův mlýn (the town, not talking about surroundings) is an ugly relict of 90's, and I don't see any reason why anyone should go there (Winter or Summer, doesn't matter). Go anywhere else in Krkonose, but for god's sake avoid this ugly town (unless the only thing you care about is skiing).

The city has plenty of activities for all age ranges. We went in September, so no skiing trip. You can rent bikes, kickbikes, electric scooters, take the cable chair to the top of the mountains. There are plenty of bar and restaurants, all sorts of cuisines (saw pizza, pasta, mexican, burgers, grills, fancy and down to earth) There are plenty of easy trails that allow for a buggy, which we took advantage of, since we visited with a 1-year old.Adam*LCzech Republic - 10Scored 10

We really liked how dog-friendly the city is. You can walk into any restaurant with your pooch and everything will be OK. But the city is fairly small and there really isn't much to do other than eat and drink in between your hikes/rides/skiing.SlawomirPoland
