This small beautiful town is just right if you are here in winter for ski vocation. Within this town there are 3 areas for all experience levels. In the city center there is a Tesco supermarket to buy food. There are plenty of restaurants for all. But during our short stay we didn´t find a truly Czech cuisine - maybe you will get more luck. You don´t have to worry about renting ski or snowboard equipment - they have everything. And you get communicate without problems in Englisch and German. I like Rokiytnice for not bad conditions of ski slops, good schedule of ski buses, and generall nice atmosphere that ppl from Chech Republic can create. But I totally don't get why they dont care about the commercial side of it, in teh middle of the season there are only 2-3 places for dinner/beers open, and usually reservation is required. there is place for improvment for sure!MonikaPoland

The apartment was just the right size for the two of us and equipped with everything we may need even for a longer stay. We've loved the proximity to nature with a beautiful forest (and hikes) starting literally right outside the hotel. Please note that the nearest restaurant is about 2 km from the property and that the bistro located on-site may not be operating.
