A wonderful stay. Check-in in less than ten minutes and before the official time. We arrived at about one o’clock in the afternoon. He made a free upgrade for the reservation from a triple room to a suite. Mr. A'laa from the reception was very friendly.. The restaurant at breakfast time is very organized. Everyone was at the service.. Mr. Khaled.. Mr. Abdel Rahman and the organization of the session in wonderful places in the restaurant.. the cheerful Tuta. Muhammad Haiba, who works in silence. Don't forget the fruit platter from Basbousa. The swimming pool on the ninth floor is beautiful and quiet, with excellent service from Mr. Mohamed Nasser. The hotel's location is very close to the airport. 5 minutes. And close to New Cairo. Less than 20 minutes

Born of an ancient civilization, Cairo is a vast metropolis centered around the Nile. Its sheer scale can feel overwhelming (especially when flying over Cairo Airport), so plan ahead. An obvious starting point are the Giza Pyramids. Although the pharaohs are long gone, the grandeur of their burial pyramids, the Sphinx and Solar Boat are testament to their ambition.
The city’s Egyptian Museum houses a dazzling display of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including finds from Tutankhamen's tomb in Luxor. Around the corner is Tahrir, a huge square and focal point of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution.
East is Islamic Cairo, home to the 9th-century Ibn Tulun Mosque, Al-Azhar Mosque (site of the world’s oldest university), and the Khan el-Khalili souk (remember to haggle). The Citadel, with its elegant Mohammed Ali Pasha Mosque, sits on a hill offering far-reaching city views.
If you need a break from cultural tours, take a Nile cruise by felucca, spot wildlife in Wadi Digla desert park or visit Egypt’s top theme parks: Dream Park and Magic Land, where you can tour Egyptian TV studios.
Before heading to your Cairo accommodations, sample the local cuisine – the falafel and fuul (bean paste) are delicious. Coffee is a staple and there are hundreds of shisha bars, while major Cairo hotels have bars serving alcohol.

Cairo is notoriously chaotic, and has the traffic and noise...
Cairo is notoriously chaotic, and has the traffic and noise issues to prove it. But still a splendid place to explore Egyptian history and culture, with iconic landmarks like the Pyramids of Giza and the Nile River. The Egyptian Museum is a must-visit destination when in Cairo, but needs more care and structure update, most of its archaeological treasures are just there displayed without proper care, it was a bit disappointed. The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is a new museum, covering all the different historical periods that encompass Egypt's history and is where the royal mummies are located now. Khan El Khalili Bazaar has a vibrant energy and is an important district for both cultural and economic activity, but be prepared to be harassed by the vendors who may follow you trying to convince to buy in his shop. You can’t go to Cairo and not see the Pyramids of Giza, it's a very popular destination and always busy. You can do it by yourself or hiring a guide. I walked around by myself and it was great since we did in our time and speed, also be prepare to be approached many times for camel or horse rides. Often referred to as the cradle of civilization, Cairo is a trip worth taking once.

The history and the sights are unbelievable.
The history and the sights are unbelievable. But I have traveled to over 40 countries and Cairo was definitely the most stressful place I have ever been. You have to be alert always with the different scams that are all around. Also the driving and walking is extremely dangerous. I never felt danger from the people, but great danger from getting hit by cars, trucks, motorcycles , tuk tuks.

Cairo is total chaos, the traffic complete craziness.
Cairo is total chaos, the traffic complete craziness. BUT....
it is one of the most fascinating cities on earth.
I have always felt safe. Love the shopping, cafés, restaurants and the great bakeries.
Don't be discouraged by the madness, dive in and become part of it.
When reviewing this hotel one must keep in mind that this is a bed breakfast/hostel type hotel. It is not a 5 star Hilton resort. However it is a wonderful small hotel for those on a budget wanting to stay near the Pyramids. It is also close to the new Egyptian museum set to open soon. The owner and his brothers went above and beyone to make our stay pleasant. The room was clean. The patio did have a nice view of the Pyramids. Transportation to and from the airport and the included breakfast were good.
The staff at Nile Guardian hotel were exceptionally good. They were extremely welcoming and made sure we were given the best treatment possible. The general Manager Ashraf, took care of all our needs. Also Miss Hannan and Sahar were so kind and made sure we had everything available during breakfast. Their tours are very budget friendly and accommodating as per our needs. They even called to check on us if we reached the airport safely. I wish them all the best and keep up the great work.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel. Stunning views of the Nile and city. Helpful staff. Authentic Egyptian breakfast. Free airport shuttle. Spacious and clean rooms. Private balcony. Ahmed, the Receptionist helped us organise tours and transport to the tourist sites as well as ordering in delicious shawarmas from the local takeaway. Lots of amazing restaurants such as Happy dolphin within a 5 minute walk. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return if I visit Cairo again.
I recommend HUR PYRAMIDS INN especially to all those who love ancient Egypt!!
The view from the window and the hotel terrace is amazing! The proximity of three pyramids makes you feel like the pharaoh himself :)
The hotel owner - Mochamed's care for tourists is amazing! Will take care of absolutely everything to make your trip unique!!!
He will organize your trip perfectly and ensure your safety!!
It was the best trip I have ever experienced!
I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!! :D
Perfect location (in front of the Egyptian museum) and near nice cafés and restaurants - try the Koshary it's delicious and cheap. We also could walk to the local market very easily (like 30 mns max) Very amazing staff in the hostel. They helped us book our tour in Gizeh and when we were not satisfied with the tour, Anas (from the hostel staff) made everything in his power to get us happy so thank you Anas for your efforts you're the best !!
Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Similar breakfast platter to others I’ve had in Egypt, but this came with more fresh fruit, fresh juice, it was lovely.
Hotel staff were so accommodating and helpful. They gave us recommendations for the area, extra drinks and water when we asked, and assisted us with anything we asked about. Service was 10/10.
This place is probably the best we could get in Cairo without booking a 5* hotel.
This hotel is run by the most respectful and helpful staff I have ever met Mohamed and others went above and beyond and wanted to make us feel comfortable. The rooftop is an attraction for viewing the pyramids. They serve delicious fresh juices. I recommend all the fresh juices. Best of all is grilled food. Mohamed offers the most beautiful excursions inside Egypt. Upon arrival it is possible
One of the best family friendly hotel in cairo.
Best Location to visit all over cairo
All the staffs are very professional and friendly
How can i forget the view
You will experience the best view of nile river from your balcony
I suggest you to have dinner on their cruise restaurant
cruising to the nile river while you will enjoy your buffet dinner with Egyptian style live entertainment
Perfect stay, if you are looking for something close to the airport: the Hotel is directly accessible via footbridge from Terminal 3. You can save the money for taxi/transfer, Terminals 1 & 2 are connected with free of charge monorail.
Beautiful, large & quiet rooms.
Amazing & huge pool area, 3 great restaurants on site.
Best breakfast buffet ever!!!!
This is a typical airport hotel, okay if you have a quick layover, need a quick meal and a place to sleep but nothing fancy or special about the property. Location is perfect and a free shuttle every 30 minutes so that is the best part. I stayed 2 separate times and it did the trick.
Hotel is very well located if you want a place near the airport and outside the busy streets of Cairo, it has good facilities and restaurants and a wonderful spa with mostly local Egyptians working in it, definitely a good pick if you want a stay nearby Cairo airport
The staff is very kind and helpful. I am a U.S. female solo traveler who travels frequently to Egypt. I highly recommend this hotel. This hotel is also very clean, updated, and conveniently located close to the airport and shopping.
Great hotel in the middle of the action. Close to all the renowned shaorma eateries and restaurants and caffees.
There us some noise from the main street so bring ear-plugs with.
Also Egyptian Museum close nearby.
Conveniently located between Airport and Downtown this hotel was a very nice place to spend our last night in Egypt. Very helpful staff and easily arranged late checkout for one of our rooms. Very rcommended.
I have stayed at dozen of hotels around the area but City view was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much Hany 👍
The staff were trying their best but that didn't take away from the fact that this was no 5 star hotel. In fact I have stayed in 3 star Hotels in Dublin that were superior to the Hotel Gabriel Hotel.
Excellent service , great food ,5 star rooms .
I stayed at 3 different hotels around the pyramids and this one has definitely the best views, specially from the terrace.
Very well organized staff. Lots of fun too.
The buffet breakfast is the best I’ve had in Egypt, lots of variety, delicious food. Big pool
excellent room service. Great hotel
