Great central location, great breakfast and nice gym. My first night I had trouble sleeping due to noise on the street my room was facing, the staff took great care of me and upgraded me to a better room that was quiet.

Great location, nice facilities and helpful staff.
The City of Smiles, Århus (or Aarhus as it’s now officially known) has been around longer than any other Scandinavian city, so has had plenty of time to accumulate attractions and eateries. Its vibrant music scene and nightlife are popular with Denmark’s largest student population, and the University Park features the excellent Steno Museum and Natural History Museum.
Weird and wonderful artworks adorn the multi-coloured ARoS museum, and artefacts in the Viking Museum are on the site where they were discovered, alongside copies of exhibits from the Moesgård Museum, located in a forest south of the city centre (closed until 2014). At the heart of the neighbouring park is Marselisborg Palace, the Danish monarch’s summer residence.
The botanical gardens are opposite the Old Town, which is not actually the historic centre but rather a colourful collection of half-timbered buildings from all over Denmark, set around a pond.
Shops and pavement cafes line the Aarhus River which enters the sea by the large port which has contributed significantly to the city’s success. Overlooking it are the ultra-modern Isbjerget apartments, resembling peaks of icebergs. Also innovatively designed is the Modernist town hall, and Aarhus Cathedral has the country’s tallest spire and longest nave.
Booking.com’s accommodation options range from beachfront hotels to cheap hostels and apartments near Aarhus Airport.
My first time in Denmark and it was beautiful. A lot of new building projects. A lot of shops and restaurants. A lot of museums. Den Gamble By definitely worth visiting, because there are a lot of museums and you feel like a lot of years ago. Botanical garden is for free, a lot of beautiful plants.

Not as much to do in Aarhus proper, but if you had the means to travel outside there was more to see. Not as visitor friendly as other Danish cities we visited. One full day was enough for the city proper to meander around. Be careful of where you eat, because some of the smorrebord menus were simply fried fish (from their fish and chips menu) on a large piece of bread or soggy chicken salad. Not the Danish versions you might be looking for.

Confusing town plan. Lost my sense of direction frequently.
Confusing town plan. Lost my sense of direction frequently.
Great range reasonable eating places. Friendly service. Flexible menus.
The art gallery was a bit strange. Not much of a B collection for an experienced art lover in other European cities. The shop there was well stocked and presented

Best nature around this city. Very underrated.
Best nature around this city. Very underrated. Totally worth to come check for its city centre, the restaurants, the cafes, the new building with interesting designs, and of course, the forests and the parks
It was everything that we needed for a relaxing get away. Personnel was friendly and so kind when we arrived earlier that the scheduled check-in time to accommodate us and our cat ☺️ Room spacious and clean with view over the city.
Breakfast was tasty with a nice buffet. The coffee during breakfast was not that great, but there was the option of an espresso which was great.
All in all we look forward to visit Aarhus again for more days. We would definitely choose the same hotel
The room was spacious, a welcomed upgrade during the quiet season. Ample towels made managing the bathroom shower setup a breeze. Complimentary tea and coffee were provided, along with a working kettle and television. Its fantastic central location boasted nearby cafes, supermarkets, and restaurants. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. Plus, it was conveniently close to Aarhus street food market and the bus station for easy access to the airport.
My girlfriend and me spent a couple of night here. The location of the hostel is very good. it is very good renovated, super clean and well decorated. The room is comfy although it is not big, just enough to move around and it is a square in plan. The Internet connection was good. The staff is friendly. Definitely a place we would love to visit again, when we come to Aarhus again. You could wash your laundries for a reasonable price.
Aarhus is an amazing city.
Very modern, stylish hotel in great position. The Art Museum Aros, botanical garden, Gamle Den and shopping areas are just minutes away. Delicious breakfast with sourdough bread and avocado toast. Very friendly and helpful staff.
-This is the hotel for anyone who wants a pleasant couple of days in Aarhus. For Aarhus, this is a nice location, close to everything you need. Close to bus and railway, city attractions, restaurants and shops. Polite stuff. Mostly perfect Wi-Fi.
This hotel is right in the center of Aarhus, conveniently located from the train station, restaurants, and shops. The room felt open and bright and the design of the bathroom was more spacious than some other Scandic hotels where I've stayed.
The location was perfect for me, close to the city center of Aarhus (walking distance of like 5 minutes) and Iman was very supportive. He provided space to put food in the fridge and also had the right products to put a washing machine.
The hotel is at heart of Aarhus. I loved the location. The room was super spacious and very large. The breakfast was rich and healthy. The hotel was full of paintings. The restaurant was very nice with natural light streaming from roof.
New, clean hotel and well decorated by modern art which reflects Danish loving art. I like the room decoration and the toilet finishings😍. The location is very nice and near the city centre.I highly recommend this hotel.
If you travelling with family and passing through Aarhus it is ideal hotel, away from city, easy to mark and get around.
I was moving to Tilst so I choose that and enjoy my stay here.
There are lot of mega stores near by.
The hotel is well situated (12mins to Aarhus H), close to everything. The breakfast itself is a treat. it’s hold on a Michelin plate restaurant so the decoration was really nice with glass ceilings etc.
The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre within walking distance to Aarhus Central Station and the city centre itself. The room was adequately equipped and the staff was friendly.
