The location, the cabin, the available facilities and things we could use (fishing rods, bicycles, toiletries), it was all amazing! The host was also very welcoming and encouraged us to use the fishing rods, even helped us find our way up one of the mountains nearby! The area is super secluded, so if that's something you enjoy I totally recommend this place!

Room was very clean and cozy. Shower was hot and pressure was great. Breakfast had a great spread. Enjoyed the views overlooking the fjord and the fun optional group activity of cherry stones and music bingo. Very close to a bus stop, but you must walk uphill a bit to get there. Great home base to explore the sidery and Queen's Trail, and not far to take the bus into Odda for Trolltunga.
Located just 164 feet to the bus stop for connections to Trolltunga, Slottet Apartments offers accommodations in Tyssedal. Norwegian Museum of Hydropower and Industry is just 1969 feet away.

Such a gorgeous family room and kitchen; large windows open up to the fjord; absolutely stunning! The kitchen was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom worked great. Overall, a great stay.

The room was clean. The location is good. The facilities are located near the main road but far enough away that you don’t hear any road noise. The breakfast buffet is good.
We stayed in Jondal only 1 night. If you want to visit Glacier, it is better to stay 2 nights. You need basically 1 day for Glacier, and honestly I would love to join more the hotels and the views. The hotel was amazing and we didn’t have time to enjoy it. After Glacier we drives directly to Stavanger.
