This was the worst experience ever I went to the hotel after booking and paying for it got to the door and they refuse me at my entry they told me that I needed to pay more money on WhatsApp and if I didn't they would not let me in they left me out in the cold all night disgusting

You need to book well in advance if you want to watch the...
You need to book well in advance if you want to watch the Black Cats at the stadium of light! There is a nice railway connection to nearby Seaham if you want to visit. You can walk along the Wear through a sculpture park and the city centre is excellent for cheap food and drink.

Sunderland is a lovely city with lots of things to see and do. The coast here is beautiful with interesting beaches and walks. The people we spoke to were welcoming and friendly everywhere we went. Everything the people were generous in there attitude towards visitors there was plenty to do and visit public transport was readily available prices across the board were comparable to normal residential areas unusual for a top tourist attraction

The room was spotless and perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable. we had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent. The buffet style breakfast was very good with lots of options. All the staff were lovely and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Hilton Garden Hotel Sunderland for making our stay so enjoyable.
