We were there for a wedding and the staff went out of their way to help us. The rooms were charming (and each one different) and the breakfast included with the room was much more than I expected.

When I arrived late, the person who welcomed me didn’t help me at all. He didn’t even provide me the WiFi. It was a dodgy room and didn’t value the money I paid.

The breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day. We were travelling for a wedding - this location was excellent being only 20mins away from the wedding venue. Extremely quiet.

Breakfast was a bomb! Great choice and quality.
Dinner was also great. Probably the best fish and chips in year!
Property/management always present and deeply welcoming.

The photo made the room look more spacious than it actually was, there were too many things in such a small room, and items added since the photo was taken that made the room uncomfortable to use. Noting 8m in the offering did not translate as the photo.
The host is lovely and really would do well to buy a bigger place and transfer her skills there.
Royston itself is a sweet little town with everything within 5 minutes

Nobody at the Coach House when we arrived, waited 30 minutes for some one to be there. The room was not in the main building, it was clean but more like a motel in the middle of nowhere. They were not very friendly gave us the key to the room and that was it. We decided not to stay and booked a room at The Old Bull Inn in Royston. Royston was very good with a nice Park some good pubs and shops too. Our stay at the Old Bull Inn was perfect but tight for parking

We didn't actually visit the town of Royston and the Coach House Hotel is a bit off the beaten track but ideal for the Duxford Imperial War Museum and not too far from Audley End House, which was our main reason for choosing this hotel and the beautiful city of Cambridge is not too far away and a must see.

It looked a very pleasant place to visit with a nice park to wonder around in. The visit was for work so was too short to look around further.
Will probably go back and visit as part of a holiday in the future.

A beautiful old English town with character, great eating establishments.
I'm not sure it would be considered a tourist town; but I was there for the airshow at Duxford; so the location was perfect for me.

We were only here to visit our daughter in Addenbrookes Hospital and visit her home in Royston.
We had a nice meal in a Thai restaurant the evening before. But it’s a quiet town with very little to do.
The property was filthy and was full of mould. The toilet was blocked and no hot water. It hadn’t been cleaned for months there was dust webs all over the walls, dead flys in the sink. The smell hit you soon as you walked through the door I stopped 1 night and was straight out in the morning and been poorly since. Booking.com is so slow at investigating my claim and the hotel offered me 50% back. Please do not stay here for your own health. See pictures.
Our stay was great! The room was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious- one of the best we’ve had recently. The hosts were really friendly. Good location from the centre of Royston, in walking distance - we were staying for a wedding nearby. Parking available outside for free. Bathroom was really clean and there was a separate toilet as well to the main bathroom so this wasn’t a problem.
All staff were super friendly and helpful the whole visit. Room was as advertised; lovely old building, with comfortable bathroom and bed. Breakfast was spot on everyday. Bar and pub food in restaurant were good standard. Hotel is in an excellent position in Royston; easy access through car park, and many local shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Local taxi drivers know the hotel.
Its a v old pub, full of history. The hotel bar and catering are extremely popular and the accommodation is dated , but appropriate to the era it was built. The cooked breakfast was lovely and the staff v welcoming and our 4 poster room
was huge and high, with effective heating, except in the bathroom.
Great location! 5min walk from the train station. A 15min walk to town centre. Ideal for me as only 4min from my office when visiting!
Plenty of room! Much better than an small hotel room and for a better price. Parking place even If I did not use it this time. Super clean.
Very comfy bed.
Really lovely room and staff had made our stay special by putting petals and towels shaped in swan heart on bed as it was our anniversary.
The hotel has a lot of character and charm and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Well located near the centre of Royston the Old Bull is a characterful building of some age with blackened beams and rafters. Handy bar downstairs served me good pub grub over a pint or two of beer.
