It is a very interesting town.
It is a very interesting town. There are many fascinating buildings dating from the Georgian period, including the Pantiles. The shopping area, although small, has several quality outlets. The general vibe of the town centre is very good especially at night. Of course, Tunbridge Wells is set amongst beautiful Kent countryside. A great place to visit.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend and we’re very pleased with everything we found there. A very clean, quirky, quiet hotel with great decor, very friendly polite staff and our room was perfect ( superior king room). The breakfast was great, hot and very tasty! I would highly recommend The mount edgecumbe hotel.

Great value homely hotel.
Great value homely hotel. Room comfortable warm and a good size staff were lovely breakfast was very good cooked to order which is a big plus factor and plenty selection The hotel is short walk to town but a bit of a up hill on return but not a major put off and plenty of taxis around if needed But there are very good high end restaurants within easy reach of the hotel Would definitely return with a longer stay next time

A nice town, with all the amenities. The Pantiles area very vibrant. Great base for sightseeing in Kent and Sussex with loads to see and do. Plus rail links to travel a bit further if you want. Recommend Hever Castle, Batemans, Canterbury, Beachy Head, Caterham

It is such a beautiful place, I would love to have stayed longer. I wanted to find Shalfords Emporium where they filmed Half a Sixpence which was at the Pantiles, such a cute place. I ate at Juliets which makes the best cakes and drinks.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and any small defect is addressed straight away. Staff are friendly and helpful and always ready to offer assistance to those of use with mobility issues. Thankfully there is no buffet at breakfast, your meal choice being freshly prepared and brought to your table. The room was small but really well organised, good sized shower and bathroom, cute little tea/coffee area and home made shortbread. The bar has an amazing cave and the surrounding area is quite impressive with huge sandstone slabs around the vicinity. Staff were really friendly and the food was excellent. We would return.

I always use the Spa for a treatment. This time I had Abbie who was lovely and did a really good luxury pedicure. Wildly overpriced for what they offer. Bath did not have a shower. Lamps did not work. Room decor was not good. On top of that the famous Pantiles, which the hotel is a part of, were a low-rent disappointment, despite an okay Indian meal there. Avoid Royal Tunbridge Wells like the plague. It has zero to offer tourists.
