Penbrey is a lovely little village.
Penbrey is a lovely little village. Some great pubs which do amazing food. Pembrey Country Park is an amazing place, it's huge...... We visited during the busy season and were able to take our dog into the beach..... and what a beach.... again, its huge...!!!! We will certainly be visiting again, and will be using Four Seasons B & B, such a lovely friendly place to stay.

Its clear from other guests I encountered that Pembrey is used as a base for keen walkers. It was a suitable out of town location for my purpose of visiting Ffos Las racecourse about 20 minutes drive.

Free parking, always a winner! The young fella in the front desk was a very pleasant chap. Always nice to be greeted with a smile! Loads of brew kit in the room so you will never go short of a cuppa! Despite my criticisms below I would actually stay again if I was by myself. Actually found the bed fairly comfortable which is rare for me as I’ve got a spinal condition.

As for the Pembrey Country Inn down the road, it was so nice we had dinner there twice in a row. The landlord and staff are amazing, the atmosphere when a live group performed in the Saturday night was simply brilliant. Good that we could take our dogs and that the garden is secure so no chance of them escaping. Kitchen had everything we needed and more and decent utensils etc. Decent shower and bathroom was fine. Had a homely feel.

She was good enough to do us an early cooked breakfast on Saturday and Sunday so we could compete at Pembrey Race Circuit on time. Thoroughly recommend Cedar Grove for any fellow racers.
