FAQs about hotels in Manchester

The Capital of Northern England

With an industrial past and a modern outlook, the complex fabric of Manchester is interlaced with interesting museums, English pubs and shopping centers.

Dash straight into the luxurious Selfridges and Triangle departments stores before checking out the old-English charm of the Shambles.

Manchester wouldn't be the same without its 2 famous football clubs and fans can go wild at either of the Old Trafford or City of Manchester Stadiums. Music fans will adore the many shows performed at the Manchester Arena, the largest of its type in Europe, and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

The cultural foundations of this predominantly red-brick city are on display at the Manchester Museum and the People’s History Museum. If art is you preference, the extensive pre-Raphaelite collection at the Manchester Art Gallery is a sight to behold.

Whether you’re flying into Manchester International Airport for business or partying in one of the 500 bars in city, Booking.com’s hotels and apartments can match your accommodation needs.

    Just an amazing city where modern meets traditional.

    Just an amazing city where modern meets traditional. A vibrant place filled with beautiful architecture and culture, all with a feeling of togetherness and a real sense of the spirit of the Mancunian people. A warm convivial and friendly place which welcomes all comers. Such a diverse mix of restaurants, bars and eating places to cater for all tastes. The trams are fantastic. the lifeblood of the city centre and a great way to get around easily. The City has shrugged off its grim up North appearance and now bristles with businesses, new buildings and opportunities. Not the cheapest place to visit but certainly much better value than London. Hoping to be back very very soon. For culture, art, music and spirit, Manchester is where it's at. Nearly as good as Glasgow ;}

    Manchester boasts a vibrant atmosphere, especially in its cool city centre. Exploring the area on foot is highly recommended to fully experience its unique vibe. Don't miss out on the city's renowned club scene, offering plenty of options for nightlife enthusiasts. If you're into live music, check out Aviva Studios for a chance to catch a cool concert; we saw Sampha, which was amazing. Additionally, if you have some free time, consider visiting the iconic Manchester United or Manchester City stadium for a glimpse into football history. And when it comes to dining, treat yourself to an unforgettable culinary experience at Sexy Fish. Manchester truly has something for everyone

    Great location essentially right in the middle of the city center. Very stylish decor throughout the hotel which is inviting and welcoming. The rooms are stylish too and adequately sized for a short stay. Room was very clean and bed was more than comfortable for a few nights stay. Having a chair + desk in the room is also a bonus so you're not forced to use the bed when you're not sleeping! I also found the WC facilities in the room were perfect. This is probably my favourite Motel One in Manchester City Center!

    Leonardo is a new 'brand' that took over the Jurys Inn brand in the UK and judging by the highly professional, relaxed environment is has created at the Manchester Central property I would definitely seek out other hotels under their management.
