The old part is stunning with beautiful grounds. Reception offers a real wow factor when you walk in. Good parking and a long way from the town centre so was quiet and felt safe. The swimming pool and related facilities were nice and of a high standard. Staff throughout were of a high calibre, pleasant and helpful. The Standard Room in the Modern Wing was a good size, clean, well appointed and with a bathroom that had a separate shower cubicle from the bath. Large bed, good TV, desk and chairs. Proper wardrobe with hangers, safe, iron, fridge, tea making facilities, iron and ironing board plus a trouser press. Spare towels and pillows also included.

I stay here a great deal and have returned often. Not because of the facility, bit the kindness and hospitality shown to me by the staff. I talk a great deal, as I am on my own all week, and when I chat to the staff they honestly look as if they care about what I am saying and not just being nice because it is their job. Kia, Johnathan, izzy and eilda( sorry for any wrong spelling) greet you when you arrive. Kia has always the biggest smile and they all are friendly. In the dining room you will find Marcin and all the others who are fantastic. I could go on for hours but I will leave it there.

I came here as I needed a room close to the hospital. Beautiful room that the owners clearly take a lot of pride over keeping clean. Host was really helpful and kind. The pub below was nice and the beer garden is lovely. Netflix in the rooms is a great touch! It was nice to be able to stay in a warm comfortable room.
