Staff were brilliant. Good breakfast and the location next to the hodpital was great as we were visiting sick relatives.
Set in 9 acres of parkland, the hotel is well placed for Guildford, Woking and the M25. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel, and free parking on site.

Gorgeous place, stunning room, so comfortable! Slept very well, everything you could want is provided. The staff were excellent, so friendly and welcoming
On average, 3-star hotels in Guildford cost $143 per night, and 4-star hotels in Guildford are $149 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Guildford can be found for $140 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Small town vibe. Very vibrant and l enjoyed the delicious cuisines. I don't like the fact that everything shuts down at 6pm even on a weekend.
The closing time should be looked into, especially on the weekends.

Bit tricky to find town centre.
Bit tricky to find town centre. Cobbled streets are lovely but not ideal for wheelchairs. Nice individual shops and eateries. The park and ride signage remains but is no longer running. Parked in York car park. The exit to town centre is on level 9 but no signage

Lovely old market town.
Lovely old market town. Interesting individual shops, as well as the usual chains.
Lovely river walk with good riverside pub for lunch or dinner.
Interesting castle with beautiful spring flowers.
A theatre with good range of performances.
Older people should be aware the High Street is quite a steep hill.
Lovely town - many nice places to eat.

A huge range of shops and coffee houses.
A huge range of shops and coffee houses. Everything is close walking distance of The Angel Posting House Hotel; 2 maybe even 3 shopping malls, so even if its raining you can shop. Unusual shops, one off shops and designer shops.
Information Centre in the High Street, very helpful and got a map of town and surrounding area within walking distance. We parked outside of the town on housing estate as parking limited and expensive in the town. We walked from there along the river about a mile into the town centre.

Lovely city.
Lovely city. We lived a few miles away until recently, so coming back is great! great shopping area, although covid etc has had an effect on shops.
Love the high end shops, G Live, pubs & restaurants.
Parking is expensive, so P&R is better, south of town or at the leisure centre.

This hotel portrays a high class in all of its advertising...
This hotel portrays a high class in all of its advertising stating that its staff make your stay special. I found the staff rude which is no surprise when the management do not even come back to you after complaining. The MD is no where to be seen despite being copied in on all correspondence. The whole set up needs reform starting from the top. Better places to stay in Guildford than here who will treat you as valued customers.
Sue - the owner of this beautifully decorated and lovely B&B - at Acacia Villas was such an excellent host.
She made me feel very welcomed and went above and beyond to help me to make it to my destination the next day.
The room was very clean, warm, very comfortable, and centrally located only a 15 minute walk from Guildford Train Station.
Sue went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Guildford.
The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.
Located near to Guildford town centre and train station. Hotel and ‘compact double’ room were spotlessly clean and staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel has its own kitchen/restaurant and honesty bar area for breakfast and dinner and although we didn’t use this, it’s good that you can drink/dine in the hotel. White Co toiletries in en-suite, heated towel rail and large fluffy towels.
welcoming of the receptionist the ambience of the hotel comfort and cleanliness quirky room which had wonderful views and is in easy distance of Guildford. Albeit spa was busy we did what we wanted to do and had a great chill out. This is our go to hotel in this area and price given the facilities and establishment well worth every penny. on this occasion we did not eat at the hotel
Hotel is in a beautiful setting and everyone was lovely. The room was clean and comfy and away from the main hotel, with easy access to the garden for the dog. We chatted to the new manager who, like everyone, is struggling with staffing, and also trying to improve the hotel in terms of facilities etc. It was a beautiful day to sit in the garden and enjoy the surroundings.
All the staff we encountered at the Hotel were very courteous, professional and helpful especially the front desk staff and breakfast team (special shout out to Lola and Fatemah for preparing my wife a veggie breakfast😊) the location is perfect for the town centre and train station. We would happily come back again
very comfortable room, the restaurant was busy but the service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the food.
the breakfast was of good quality and served quickly.
the hotel is set in a lovely location for walking or for visiting Guildford and London is easily accessible by train.
The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The decor of the hotel was stylish and modern. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect as I was going to a show at G Live next door and there were lots of restaurants and bars in the area.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The Hotel and the restaurant were so comfortable and cosy, the staff was super nice and helpful. My room was spacious, well furnished and very clean, the bed was comfy and warm.
I strongly recommend it.
This was our second time visiting The Guildford Harbour Hotel. It’s really centrally located in Guildford, making an easy walk into the town centre. The reception, bar and dining areas are well kept and comfortable.
The two reception staff with whom I dealt were very polite, professional, courteous. The omelette at breakfast was superb, and the hotel has good coffee. I also like the convenient short walk to/from town.
The room was very large and clean, especially the bathroom. Great location of the hotel in Guildford centre, close to the train station. Large bed too! Would recommend it and use in the future if needed.
Fantastic place, after recently staying in a spate of different hotels, this has certainly been the best. Very welcoming upon arrival, rooms extremely clean, well decorated and with a mira shower system.
I do not complain about the staff, as they were always nice and friendly especially in the morning. This was the best aspect of the hotel. The room quality and bed were just 'normal'.
