We needed to check-in as early as possible so we could attend a wedding. I'd emailed beforehand and the staff had gone out of their way to turn around our room so we could have access when we arrived. It was a large, well appointed room with an ensuite incorporating both a jacuzzi bath and an excellent powerful shower. It was clean and tidy, if a little care-worn, but the bed was exceptionally comfortable, with high thread count bedding and fluffy towels and they get my vote because a teapot was provided. ☺️

James the GM went out of his way to help us get to a wedding in time. Our taxi didn’t arrive so James did not hesitate to take us there which was so decent of him. We arrived 1 minute before the bride walked down the aisle!!

The best part would have to be the view! I love a good view and the pictures on the website don’t do it’s justice, when you get there and you see it for yourself it really does blow you away (if you have an eye for views like me anyway!)

Clitheroe is a town full of interest to all those who wish to learn more about the industrial and social history of Lancashire valley mill towns. There are many old family businesses and shops, cafes and, of course, the fabulous Holmes Mill and its Bowland Bar and Brewery. A charming, thriving and most engaging town - with a castle!

Clitheroe is a lovely town with local shops, pubs and restaurants. The castle and its grounds are worth the climb up the hill. The town is a good base for exploring further afield.
For those with walking difficulties, you should be aware that Clitheroe is on a hill and the streets can be steep.
For those liking wine, there is an excellent wine shop D. Byrne & Co to explore.

Market Lounge is a lovely property. The owners have taken great care to make it very comfortable and they provided some generous touches which were most welcome - cheese, chocolates, wine. The property is well located in the middle of Clitheroe so you have easy access to shops, cafes, pubs etc. THe property is very well maintained and decorated. Having car parking close was also very convenient. We can highly recommend this property and the helpfulness and accessibility of its hosts.
The accommodation exceeded our expectations, the communication from the owner, the cleanliness and decor of the property, even the complimentary bottle of Prosecco, right down to the two lovely girls who came to clean the property at the end of our stay, great location for both Clitheroe and Whalley which was £10 in a local taxi, overall a fantastic stay, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and look forward to staying again when we are next in the area.
Nestled in the beautiful village of Waddington. Perfect placement for wedding accommodation in the Clitheroe area, specifically The Outbarn venue. The lodgings have been furnished and decorated to a high, clean and comfortable standard, all at the hands of the owner himself to add, who couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful, allowing me and my girlfriend a much earlier check in time for a midday wedding. Highly recommended!
The cottage was warm, welcoming and perfect for two couples.
Very comfortable and well appointed.
The owner's communication was great, explained where to park and how to enter the property.
Great position, near to the town centre, and good places to eat, we would recommend Tom's Table and the Brewery, fab food and atmosphere.
The hotel is a quirky place which has loads of character and the rooms were very clean.
Owner was a lovely gentleman and very helpful.
Continental breakfast had bacon amd Sausages which was an unexpected bonus 🙂
Private and spacious pad, ideally located for the centre of town, all amenities, and easy to get out into the beautiful surrounding countryside. The host/ owner Olivia was very helpful and communicative. Loved it!
Immaculate lodge, absolutely spotless, large and spacious, loved the hot tub, on suite bathroom every detail catered for.
The site was Immaculate, the views were beautifu, great communication from the owners
Beautiful house, very well furnished. Downstairs toilet & en-suite helpful alongside main bathroom when there’s a few of you staying. Walking distance (10mins) to Clitheroe centre. Friendly neighbours.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Morning chef had a great energy about him and the breakfast was excellent. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and all in a great setting.
