I didn't actually visit Brentwood but rather Southend and Basildon, this location was ideal as it was just of the Motorway which allowed me to easily drive in and out of areas of Essex and still get back to my hotel with relative ease.

We were there for a memorial service so we didn't get time to visit the city and sightsee.
Very impressed with the taxi driver as my sister lost her phone and it was handed in to the taxi office for her collection.

Everything was very clean and if you have a problem to sleep on a soft and comfortable bed then the bed in the hotel is very good for you.
It is a pity I did not get much time to walk around due to my training but I have enjoy my stay.
Very comfortable light filled ground floor double room in main building - garden view appreciated.
Excellent housekeeping with squeaky clean bathroom - good towels.
Ambience of hotel is pleasant with a decor which is a blend of the old with new.
Rather good photographic prints of the property, which has an interesting back story ,when a private residence can be found on the walls - worth a second look.
All staff encountered very pleasant and table service particularly good.
Food - good :)
We stayed for a Christmad mea and get togetherl with friends.
The hotel has a real Christmas atmosphere, beautifully decorated.. we have stayed and booked the restaurant before for a number of years.
The staff are friendly and the food is we presented and tasty.
The staff seems a little thinned out from previous years but in the current economical climate not unusual.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during the stay I this little historical gem!
The room, the garden, the breakfast all make me so happy. They were quite busy with parties & afternoon tea, and yet we were treated like we were VIPs. We ate in the comfy chairs in a room with fireplace & lovely Tudor decor, fireplace & walls. Customer service was perfect! We previously stayed in Brentwood at this hotel in Dec & found it to be fabulous. Again this time, greatly delighted by our time here.
Everything was great, prices for food were fair, breakfast was lovely and the room service exquisite, the hotel had a lovely interior and atmosphere, and the room was spacious and lovely, the staff were beyond friendly. Will definitely stay again !
This hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast in bed which was brilliant and they also offer 24 hour room service. If you are looking for a quite break I would recommend this place.
Clean, quiet despite being in centre of Brentwood, spacious, safe, lovely furnishings and tea/coffee/milk/sugar was nice touch as well as slippers if needed. Will return when visiting the area again. Very helpful and accommodating host.
Great location, friendly and reliable host. The property was cosy and had everything you needed for a week’s stay. Walking distance to Brentwood station if you’re planning on going into London.
This is a hidden gem! Loved the cleanliness of the room, it’s quiet and it’s a great location. Family run and lovely staff, thank you to all the staff at Brentwood guesthouse and God bless x
