Brilliant location with a large carpark. The room was on the ground floor on the road side but the traffic wasn't any bother at all. Very comfortable room, had all the facilities you need. 10/10 would highly recommend.

In a nutshell if you wish for a budget B&B in a decent location then this maybe for you. I just needed an overnight stay to rest up before travelling again on the following day. Breakfast is included (as I left early I missed this). Decent Wifi & you have access to shared lounge with large TV. Space on grounds for parking. Staff polite & welcoming.

The breakfast was great - tasty and ample. Set you up for the day. Loved the bed - big and comfy. Also, the room was not cluttered; it was very spacious, but had all the essentials. The owner/s were so friendly, willing to talk and give information about the area. There was nothing to dislike - just climbing the few stairs to our room at the end of a full day!!

It is about a 15 minute walk from the railway station, and it’s less than £5 each for a return trip to Liverpool, with trains running every 15 minutes. Not quite as good as being in the city centre but I found it was no big deal. Lovely room, big bathroom. Very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and finally the most important thing the staff were lovely and very friendly. Value for money was 10/10 !!
