Breakfast excellent. Lakeside views tremendous. Micaela and Carola on desk plus rest of staff wonderful. Carola handled herself very professionally and curtiously when a group travel leader unrelated to us was rude and very loud to her, when it was obvious that other guests listening. That group leader was disrespectful and well done to Carola for her patience on dealing with issue. Shuttle to train station nice touch.

The Hauser Hotel is located in the heart of St. Moritz. With mountain cable cars and public transport only a couple of footsteps away.

Great value for money- clean and elegantly simple rooms, close to village center and the lake, nice staff. Breakfast was an absolute gem- you MUST try home made croissants and granola/muesli you could combine with seeds, fruit and the most exceptional honey that I have ever tasted. Lorenzo at reception was so kind and helpful throughout our stay! We had two nights here before boarding the Glacier Express from St. Moritz. We had no idea what to do in the area, but Lorenzo gave us plenty of options to keep us preoccupied. The biggest surprise was getting a free public transportation pass. It allowed us to easily get around. For the price, quality and location, staying in Pontresina is a much better value than staying in St. Mortiz. Many thanks to Lorenzo for adding to our overall positive impression.

Rooms used for breakfast and dinner were so lovely! Beautifully decorated with nice lighting. Breakfast buffet was very good and substantial. We had dinner at the restaurant both nights and the food and service were excellent! We also enjoyed the large sitting room after dinner both nights. Quiet background music was a big plus!

This is a lovely hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room could not have been better, with a wonderful view of the mountains, We walked from the train station, which was a bit of a trek up a hill. We visited in May and the area was really quiet. The lifts were all closed for the season and so were most of the restaurants and stores. We ending up eating dinner at the hotel, which was quiet good.
