Fantastic location with the best views imaginable.
Fantastic location with the best views imaginable. Staff were warm and friendly and keen to help. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection and ingredients were excellent. Everywhere was clean and there were plenty of seating area's, especially sun loungers. Spa was very relaxing and not too busy during our May stay, in fact the hotel was surprisingly quiet.
Got a free upgrade from room with a view to room with a balcony.
Highly recommend a stay here, a real gem of a place.
Only possible negative is that as Brits we did missed having tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but that is barely worth mentioning as overall the hotel, facilities and views made this a must return location.

We stayed above Stoos at the Gipfelstock hotel (amazing experience up there!), and not directly in Stoos. We did hike down to Stoos and spent time in town, the town is quite sleepy and small and we did not think there was much to do and see directly in town, the restaurant we ate at was overpriced (even for Switzerland) given the quality of the food (sorry forget the name of it, but it is the first one you come across when walking into town from the funicular and is open 365). I imagine it may be more of an exciting town in the winter season and once the new modern hotel is complete. It is a good base for hiking in the area.

Stoos used to be peaceful but modern imo Ill thought out development has changed this place from a haven of peace to an overpriced resort that has lost its charm. It’s still got great walks and views but the get away from it all and unique ambience has been lost.
The champagne breakfast was truly outstanding and well worth the 30 CHF cost. Coffee is made with loving care and the fresh wild-berries are delicious.
Our room was large and well-laid out with the rare attention to detail and caring that makes all the difference.
The couple who own the Caschu Alp Boutique Design Hotel work tirelessly to make every guest feel special. An amazing four days in every way.
WARNING. Park your car in the valley at the funicular. There are luggage trolleys that make the 10 minute trip effortless.
This was an outstanding experience. Philip is the amazing hotel director, and as we visited at the end of the off-season, there was only a small group of employees doing everything. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic experience and we received outstanding service. Philip is clearly passionate about his job and extremely proud of the hotel, for good reason. The location, the food, the rooms, the decor, the accommodation for special requests were all top notch. thank you and we can't wait to come back when there is less snow for hiking :)
Highest point of all the hotels and vacation homes on the Stoos - so great views!
Very clean, cozy room (bunk beds are normal here), very clean and modern looking bathroom.
Breakfast selection was okay - all very fresh and well presented.
Very good food from the restaurant - standard kids menu but with extremely high quality (best/freshest chicken nuggets I have every tasted!).
We had a lamb dish the one day and were blown away!
Beautiful location, scrupulously clean and so very comfortable! Our room was in the Guest House, an annex which is a one minute walk to the main building; we would recommend this to travellers looking for a great experience on a budget.
All the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was amazing and the spa area was impeccable; we would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Stoos.
The breakfast was great. Staff was amazing. We came down from hikeing late and the kitchen was closed, the made an exception one hour after closing and the staff still cooked us a warm mea with the upmost respect.
The location was amazing and the people/residence where so warm welcoming. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to go back. Thank you Stoos Lodge for making our switzerland experience so memorable.
The location is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean, it seems all rooms have a view of at least something nice.
Hotel staff responded to the fire alarm as best they could, and they certainly made every effort the next day to make us feel better about the entire situation. So will certainly go back.
It was the most spacious and comfortable room among all the four-star hotels where I stayed, on the upper floor with a view of the mountain. The location is fabulous and the fact that there are no cars in the area is extraordinary. The landscapes are dreamlike and you will definitely want to come back.
The hotel room was clean and extremely comfortable. It had a visually appealing aesthetic and a pleasant ambiance. The bed provided a high level of comfort, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room was well-maintained and spotless. The space was spacious and inviting, allowing for a relaxing stay.
Everything that you need is here… even toothpaste, nice shampoo and body lotion.
A really nice breakfast with everything that you can imagine…
For the cable gondola you can ask for a discount there if you say that you stay to this hotel.
It’s at the top of mountain we super extremely beautiful view, and everything is clean and workers are welcoming. The hotel is by itself on top of mountain, so once you check in you need to stay the full day at hotel.
The hotel was in an amazing location in Stoos. The hotel had a beautiful pool and spa area as well as a great restaurant to eat in. It made our stay in Stoos very relaxing after lots of hiking.
Extra touch by the hotel- upgrade, candlelight dinner with a very beautiful hand-written message by Mr. Kalt at the reception, after learning that we’re celebrating our 30.Wedding anniversary.
Outstanding design hotel with a personal tailored care. Great Spa and totally recommend the deluxe suite, it has a nice large balcony with breathtaking view over the mountains
