Sils is a great place for walkers, bikers, mountain bikers...
Sils is a great place for walkers, bikers, mountain bikers and skiers. And it even has a lot to offer for people unable to do any sport or just not so fit. There's a lot for children to do, too. Maybe even more could be done to make it even more family friendly. Some of the hotels and most of the holiday homes seem to offer a whole lot.

Very close to the (frozen) see, walking (cross country) trails and a great playground with just perfect slope for sledging right next to it! Not far to walk to Sils Baselgia or Furtschellas, around 15 minutes. I was pleased with the room decor, and though it was small it felt nice and cozy for me. Breakfast was slightly above average for Switzerland with some warm items like scrambled eggs and bacon. The lounge area was lovely with live pianist.SharonSingapore

You can reach the hotel also by feet in about 15 minutes from the next bus station by following a beautiful track throng a canyon and over mountain meadows...so don't come with a trolley case...:-)BjörnSwitzerland
