Sils is a great place for walkers, bikers, mountain bikers...
Sils is a great place for walkers, bikers, mountain bikers and skiers. And it even has a lot to offer for people unable to do any sport or just not so fit. There's a lot for children to do, too. Maybe even more could be done to make it even more family friendly. Some of the hotels and most of the holiday homes seem to offer a whole lot.

Very close to the (frozen) see, walking (cross country) trails and a great playground with just perfect slope for sledging right next to it! Due to Covid closed, but there is a cafe/bar next to this playground & sledge slope-must be ideal for the parents in a normal time :) Well equipped kitchen, clean and sunny-all-day rooms, well-maintained Fireplace in the cozy living room!Kyung-wonSwitzerland

Not far to walk to Sils Baselgia or Furtschellas, around 15 minutes. I was pleased with the room decor, and though it was small it felt nice and cozy for me. Breakfast was slightly above average for Switzerland with some warm items like scrambled eggs and bacon. The lounge area was lovely with live pianist.SharonSingapore

Lots of langlauf trails nearby too. highly recommend taking a horse drawn coach up to one of the restaurants in Val Fex for dinner. a highlight of our trip.HensleySwitzerland

The other selling point is that the food and service is very good, really a cut above the rest when compared to simmilar hotels. Can only recommend it.
