Sils is a great place for walkers, bikers, mountain bikers...
Sils is a great place for walkers, bikers, mountain bikers and skiers. And it even has a lot to offer for people unable to do any sport or just not so fit. There's a lot for children to do, too. Maybe even more could be done to make it even more family friendly. Some of the hotels and most of the holiday homes seem to offer a whole lot.
Fabulous apartment in a stunning location. The views from the large windows have everything: the snowy mountains, the lakes, the meadows, the hiking trails… it’s all there! The apartment is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The caretaker, Hannes, was always super helpful. Sure, as it was off season, most cafes and restaurants in Sils Maria are closed but the handful that are open are excellent.
Would definitely recommend.
Great location in Sils Maria village, very near the 'Posta' bus stop and right next to Nietzsche Haus. Not far to walk to Sils Baselgia or Furtschellas, around 15 minutes. I was pleased with the room decor, and though it was small it felt nice and cozy for me. Breakfast was slightly above average for Switzerland with some warm items like scrambled eggs and bacon. The lounge area was lovely with live pianist.
Our room had a view on the forest in the back of the hotel. It was very clean and simply and nicely arranged. It was also very quiet. Only the vending machine in the entrance was a bit disturbing.
The breakfast was very good
Excellent location in Sils Maria, 50 meters from supermarket (Volg). Good apartment layout with a large living space and balcony, ideal for families with small kids. Large bike storage and underground garage included!
This is a nice family hotel in modern/modular style. Staff was great and very helpful. Close to the lifts but you need to take a shuttle; a bit too far to walk.
