It was really the best place of my trip with fantastic view of the mountains. Services and staffs were amazing and friendly. The room was absolutely clean, spacious, and we would just want to sit in there look at the view the whole day long. Breakfast was great, with good selections. We really loved this place and wish we could stay longer. Will surely come back here in the future.

Andy at the front desk was warm and so helpful all during our stay. We had a wonderful room that faced the beautiful Lauterbrunnen valley and the mountains (our favorite view out of any place we've traveled). The breakfasts were just superb. Saxeten is a very small village in the middle of a mountainous nowhere!
For a "nature-only" fanatic, this is the place. The sound of cows' bells in the morning, the view of the mountains around, fresh air, etc., all these really charge you batteries for when going back to your city life.
BUT, if you want to get a place to sleep during you visiting Interlaken area (Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Jungfrau), you better think again!
The road to Saxeten is a 15 minutes rollercoaster! You have to have a strong heart to drive Saxeten-Interlaken a couple of times a day (and that's on good weather). Keep in mind that Switzerland is full of wonderful mountainous landscapes, so I don't recommend to stay in Saxeten, unless you can't find accommodation elsewhere in the area, for the dates of your trip.
