St Moritz is beautiful and the transport system is excellent. However it is too expensive, beyond reason. 6CHF for a cup of tea. 9CHF for a bottle of sparkling water. The best way to eat is to buy something at coop. For the amount of money going into the economy they could keep their public toilets cleaner.

We only stayed for 1 night to catch the Glacier Express the next day. By the time we checked in and got settled, most points of attraction had closed except shops. Would have liked to arrive earlier in the day to explore. However, our one night stay was quite pricey (probably the most I have ever paid for a room hotel - granted this is St. Moritz at Christmas and we had a “family room” (queen bed room with adjacent room with bunk beds). However, I fully enjoyed the Glacier Express, even though it was snowy & cloudy. Would love to do it again in the summer!

We went off season so many places were closed but what was open was perfect - a friendly welcome from everywhere we went. The Engadinia restaurant and the Parkhotel Margna in Sils were ideal places to eat. St. Moritz is easy to get around - we walked everywhere. Great place to visit

It may be a rich man's play ground and the shops and the prices reflect that. It is a pleasant place to stay and the scenery is wonderful, but there are many other places in Switzerland where that is true. We stayed there because we wanted to travel on the Glacier Express and that ride is spectacular. We would not bother with St Moritz in the Summer otherwise.

Staying at Hotel Chesa Spuondas is a relaxing alternative to choosing something in downtown St. Moritz. The gardens and woods are soothing and it's interesting seeing and using the old ground floor public rooms such as the library. One of the gentlemen servers in the dining room was extremely friendly and attentive. The evening meals were small but interesting and tasty. The walk into town took approximately 40 minutes along a very pleasant mountain path.

Modern, well thought out room with a comfy bed, small sofa, table and a modern, almost perfect bathroom with illuminated magnifying mirror and luxurious rain forest shower. The room isn't big but features a patio area with lounge furniture which really adds to the living space. The massive sliding door makes the room absolutely sound proof. The hotel features a huge parking area which isn't free, but neither is real estate in St. Moritz.

Breakfast spread was amazing, very homey! Location is uphill all the way from the train station but we took a cab from station to hotel for CHF25. Restaurants are in walkable distance. Room is suffice, not too small. Stay is comfortable as its clean and has a lift for our heavy luggage! Paid for breakfast for convenience, definitely worth it! We stayed during early Sept so temperature was just nice with opened window at night.

Very good location for St Moritz, literally on the lake & in walking distance of the station. Great room overlooking the lake. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Good breakfast & also had a great meal in the restaurant one evening. Interesting bar for evening drinks. Hotel spa is amazing .. easy to book at reception. Left too early for the hotel breakfast so we were given a huge picnic for our train journey. Helpful staff.

I stayed just for one night at the St. Moritz Youth Hostel and I would return there another time. There is a good and quick bus connection between the train station and the hostel, which is very comfortable. There was a good breakfast with a good variety of food. The room and the facilities were also good enough and clean, a comfortable bed. And just awesome staff, nice and friendly. So, I would strongly recommend it.

Great views of the mountains. We paid a bit more to get a balcony as our original booking did not have one, it was well worth it. It has a great spa which we enjoyed for the afternoon. The food was also excellent, I know Switzerland has high standards but this property is rated as 3 star - it should be 4 to 4.5 star. They also have a very good staff that helped us with local attractions to visit.

This hotel used to have the best breakfast in Europe, now its not even close. Bare minimum. Spa is nice, but choose your therapist wisely, rooms are not upgraded . Everything in the hotel in short is like this : lets satisfy the bare minimum for 5 stars hotel. Mediocre food. However the stuff - reception, concierge, bellboys, housekeepers, everyone - really great! Bravo and thank you.
