St Moritz is beautiful and the transport system is excellent.
However it is too expensive, beyond reason. 6CHF for a cup of tea. 9CHF for a bottle of sparkling water.
The best way to eat is to buy something at coop.
For the amount of money going into the economy they could keep their public toilets cleaner.

We only stayed for 1 night to catch the Glacier Express the next day. By the time we checked in and got settled, most points of attraction had closed except shops. Would have liked to arrive earlier in the day to explore. However, our one night stay was quite pricey (probably the most I have ever paid for a room hotel - granted this is St. Moritz at Christmas and we had a “family room” (queen bed room with adjacent room with bunk beds).
However, I fully enjoyed the Glacier Express, even though it was snowy & cloudy. Would love to do it again in the summer!

We went off season so many places were closed but what was open was perfect - a friendly welcome from everywhere we went. The Engadinia restaurant and the Parkhotel Margna in Sils were ideal places to eat. St. Moritz is easy to get around - we walked everywhere.
Great place to visit

It may be a rich man's play ground and the shops and the prices reflect that. It is a pleasant place to stay and the scenery is wonderful, but there are many other places in Switzerland where that is true. We stayed there because we wanted to travel on the Glacier Express and that ride is spectacular. We would not bother with St Moritz in the Summer otherwise.

Great location up in that mountain at 2000 m.
Great location up in that mountain at 2000 m. Superb staff especially Grillo & GIORGIA / very positive experience all together / I would indeed recommend this place to all mountain lovers
This hotel was so lovely! It’s a great location for travelling on the Glacier & Bernina Express as the train station has an underpass directly to the lake and hotel. The hotel also has transport which would have been good to get to the hotel as it’s uphill. The room, bathroom, restaurant and breakfast are all excellent. Fast wifi. Good hairdryer and they also provide a day backpack and binoculars for use while staying. Personally I don’t think it’s worth going into town, stay at the hotel and use the wellness centre instead.
The staff was superbly helpful. When a few things in my room did not work or malfunctioned, they sent for a service team right away. When they could not solve it the manager was gracious enough to give me a discount. The breakfast buffet had a large selection plus eggs of any choice. For expensive St. Moritz this was a good value.
The best was the 'Engadin Card' offered to guests who stay 2+ nights. It gives FREE (!) access to buses, trains and most important mountain cable cars.
Wonderful, charming, historic hotel in the heart of St. Moritz. Staff were incredibly helpful and our room was so large and spacious with a giant sitting room, small dining table with two chairs, and fantastic views of the lake and mountain. The main hotel bar - which a stocked with water, soda, beer, wine and snacks - is self-serve which was unique, yet incredibly efficient. Don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else if I visit again.
Great views of the mountains. We paid a bit more to get a balcony as our original booking did not have one, it was well worth it. It has a great spa which we enjoyed for the afternoon. The food was also excellent, I know Switzerland has high standards but this property is rated as 3 star - it should be 4 to 4.5 star.
They also have a very good staff that helped us with local attractions to visit.
It was warm and welcoming with old world charm. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was wonderful as was breakfast the next morning. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Good location with lake views and a short walk to the train station and town centre. Would highly recommend this hotel and wished we were there longer.
The Hotel Steffani was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean our room was very comfortable with a great view. The restaurant in the Staffani Hotel was vey good. We ate dinner there the night we arrived and the breakfast which was also very good. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay!
The hotel has very good facilities. It's clean. The van drivers were very friendly , also the room service ladys. It's close to Suvetra ski area and ski school (500 mt aprox).
The restaurants are good for lunch or dinner. Many alternatives of food (Italian, Swiss, etc)
The spa area is fine and clean.
I am stunned by the lake view from my room. I just don't want to leave because of the view. Hotel arranges transport from the railway station, which is super helpful, especially when I carry heavy luggage. The reception gives me good advice of where to go. The restaurant in the hotel is nice.
Staff is very helpful. Really helped us with directions and recommendations. Breakfast is good as it's in the hotel restaurant (La Stalla). We got a big room as we were upgraded. The Mountain railway cards are very helpful as it gave us free rides to the mountains
The staff were not cooperative, they did not accept our vaccinations and had us pay 150 f to translate them. We went different countries and none of them rejected our vaccination certificates. Even other places in Switzerland had no issues with it.
Choice of restaurants dinning on site with a good breakfast options. Traditional style hotel with large public areas. Relaxation area on the roof level but did not use this so can’t comment. Staff very helpful and parking is possible on site.
The location was next to the Bobsled track which is the reason we came to St. Moritz. The free shuttle service to and from the train station was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the sauna was awesome.
This hotel is perfect. Location, staff and food are excellent. Their staff are very friendly. We love their food so much that we had almost all our meals in the restaurant during our 3 nights stay. Will definitely go back.
+ The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the main shopping streets and restaurants.
+ Receptionist at check in was helpful, check in was smooth.
+ If you book a room on the lakeside, the view is incredible.
Excellent location on the edge of town and away from the main thoroughfare. Had a superb room overlooking the lake. Very friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. Could not fault the hotel.
Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Away from center of town but a quiet area overlooking lake St. Moritz. was great fit for us. Still very easy to get to town center or lift stations.
More or less everything you expect from a 5 star hotel, without any unpleasant surprises. We got few special requests, all were fulfilled as we needed.
