St Moritz is beautiful and the transport system is excellent.
However it is too expensive, beyond reason. 6CHF for a cup of tea. 9CHF for a bottle of sparkling water.
The best way to eat is to buy something at coop.
For the amount of money going into the economy they could keep their public toilets cleaner.

We only stayed for 1 night to catch the Glacier Express the next day. By the time we checked in and got settled, most points of attraction had closed except shops. Would have liked to arrive earlier in the day to explore. However, our one night stay was quite pricey (probably the most I have ever paid for a room hotel - granted this is St. Moritz at Christmas and we had a “family room” (queen bed room with adjacent room with bunk beds).
However, I fully enjoyed the Glacier Express, even though it was snowy & cloudy. Would love to do it again in the summer!

We went off season so many places were closed but what was open was perfect - a friendly welcome from everywhere we went. The Engadinia restaurant and the Parkhotel Margna in Sils were ideal places to eat. St. Moritz is easy to get around - we walked everywhere.
Great place to visit

It may be a rich man's play ground and the shops and the prices reflect that. It is a pleasant place to stay and the scenery is wonderful, but there are many other places in Switzerland where that is true. We stayed there because we wanted to travel on the Glacier Express and that ride is spectacular. We would not bother with St Moritz in the Summer otherwise.

Wonderful, charming, historic hotel in the heart of St. Moritz. Staff were incredibly helpful and our room was so large and spacious with a giant sitting room, small dining table with two chairs, and fantastic views of the lake and mountain. The main hotel bar - which a stocked with water, soda, beer, wine and snacks - is self-serve which was unique, yet incredibly efficient. Don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else if I visit again.
Great views of the mountains. We paid a bit more to get a balcony as our original booking did not have one, it was well worth it. It has a great spa which we enjoyed for the afternoon. The food was also excellent, I know Switzerland has high standards but this property is rated as 3 star - it should be 4 to 4.5 star.
They also have a very good staff that helped us with local attractions to visit.
Hotel was located a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. Lovely atmosphere with a charming interior, decorated with old pictures from the Cresta Run & old artefacts like wooden sledges. The restaurant & bar terrace has a great view overlooking the lake. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We booked the hotel's driver/car to take us to the train station on departure which was great.
Rooms as per online description, cleanliness, polite staff, great restaurant with long enough evening opening hours (very important for Switzerland and especially on Sundays), location was excellent very central and views from the room.
As a plus I would also count the hotel bar in -1 that has a live performance (very talented guitarist) and very good drinks (price and quality).
Great location, friendly and helpful stuff, great service . We loved restaurants inside of hotel, great room service, nice music in lounge next to cozy fire place ,walkable distance to everything you need or may wish, we appreciate transfer service, made everything nice and easy.
Great front desk stuff helpful and knowledgeable.
Great place to stay , definitely recommend!!!
The staff at the hotel were incredible. The room, while small, was well equipped and furnished with furniture constructed from local wood (ah, what an aroma!). The breakfast was simple but adequate. The hotel location was perfect -- close to everything in St. Moritz. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. The best hotel of my Swiss holiday.
Gorgeous scenery and a terrific aqua therapy spa and sauna. Restaurant and breakfast buffet were very nice. This is the perfect spot for a ski trip or for nature excursions. Hotel shuttle to and from St. Moritz enabled us to almost exclusively use public transportation. Taxis are readily available. There is great shopping in St. Moritz.
Delightful boutique hotel overlooking the lake and close to train station.
Our room had a lovely view of the lake with a the snow-capped mountains.
Dinner at the restaurant at the hotel was great, and so was the breakfast- and lake view from the restaurant as well.
The staff were not cooperative, they did not accept our vaccinations and had us pay 150 f to translate them. We went different countries and none of them rejected our vaccination certificates. Even other places in Switzerland had no issues with it.
Location just a few steps away from the lake. Very good restaurant in the hotel and very professional restaurant staff. Banfi restaurant right in front of this hotel is worth trying. Kids bunk bad was excellent - with own television and bathroom.
Pleasant hotel with nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast! breakfast selection was limited but it was all good homemade stuffs from sunflower seeds bread, apricot jams, strawberry juice and muesli yogurt! perfect overnight stay!
The hotel is near the corveglia ski lift. It's room is very comfy and has a great view of the mountain and lake of St. Moritz. Definitely a great place for a ski gateway.
More or less everything you expect from a 5 star hotel, without any unpleasant surprises. We got few special requests, all were fulfilled as we needed.
