The place is lovely, good location, very calm, you really get to relax on the nature, take your favourite board game and put the phones away - this is my advice. Absolutely lovely closed terrace. Definitely EXCELLENT value for the price, and I think the place is lovely both in winter and in summer.

nice staff, nice service, beautiful view, and comfortable stay
This is a really good transit hotel! I don't think I would book it for a vacation, but it was PERFECT for our needs. Which was literally just to sleep. We were driving home from Italy to Germany and appreciated that we could check-in at any time since it was all automated. Since we were just arriving late at night and leaving early morning, we loved it. It's a very basic hotel, but for people in transit it's good.
Just a note - parking is across the street and is public.
A chic view from the window and balcony on the lake and mountains, convenient parking right in front of the hotel entrance, the room has a great large refrigerator, a good Italian breakfast, very friendly hosts. If you choose this hotel, then come to the time of check-in to have time to enjoy the beautiful views before dark.
Lovely decor, friendly and efficient service, and good selection for breakfast. We had a family room which was a good size and very clean and comfortable. We are at the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent. We were are able to park right outside the hotel which was very convenient.
The location (close to a fab local restaurant and grocery shop), view towards old hotels and buildings, it has a certain charm... and the easy check-in was great after a long way driving through mountain passes. The village must be looking magical during the winter!
Easy Check-in and check-out. Public parking slots some 70 meters away from the hotel. Fresh building and rooms inside (despite its age of 123 years). Great quiet location just few minutes from the motorway away. A good price.
The amazing location and the cordial hospitality of the staff. The nature surrounding the hotel is something else and the views of the Alps is simply magnificent. The breakfast is simple but rich and good.
Location along the way to Italy , nicely placed in the mountains. Outside of the hotel stands out in the village as very well maintained. Restaurant with great foods and very nice personnel.
We return here often, this time for the night ski in Splügen. It's always a pleasure. Glad to see plans to make San Bernardino as a 5 start mountain resort, looking forward!
The hotel had better days and in a desparate need of a face lift which is a pity, as the location is amazing.
Otherwise all good, thanks to the stuff for the hospitality.
