La Catogne was a short drive away from the La Chable list, which is very convenient. The hotel rooms are simple but comfortable. The staff is very nice. The restaurant was a winner. We had originally only planned to eat there our first night but the food and service were excellent, so we ate their both nights. It is a bit off the beaten path, but made a great home base for Verbier skiing.

The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about bikes. There was a garage where we could store the bike over night. Breakfast was fantastic. View from the room balcony was lovely and caught the evening sun. Bed was adjustable and very comfy.

Plenty of parking at the hotel or up by the train station. The breakfast was great and the room was perfect for our family of 5. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The room was in decent size with basic facilities. It was clean and well arranged. The restaurant is on the ground floor and is open to the public which makes the guests mingle with the locals which we found very exciting.
