All hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a room upgrade to a room with full lake view. Breakfast is super. We had twice lunch in Bistrot Gaston. Their "plat du jour" was delicious while enjoying the lake view. The "older" waiter was a very welcoming and friendly person. The hotel itself is a bit older but all facilities were 100% clean and still very much OK. We enjoyed our stay in Montreux and would definitely go back to this hotel.

Surrounded by Lake Geneva and glorious Alpine peaks, tranquil Montreux has enchanted artistes through the ages. Lord Byron was so inspired by the style and setting of waterfront Château de Chillon that he wrote a poem about it. Nowadays it is one of Switzerland’s most popular attractions.

Further up the slopes is the family-friendly Rochers-de-Naye ski area, while the Les Pléiades pistes overlook neighbouring Vevey. Down at the quayside wooden chalets house stalls of the annual Christmas market.

It's a wonderful small town on the bord of Geneva lake where you can find peace, quiet, meditate and reflect as you wish to find your inner self. It's different from other swiss cities and once you were here might understand why Freddie loved it so much.

Montreux is a wonderful region that one can spend 3-4 days in easily. The lake side views are phenomenal. One can choose from multiple options such as visit vineyards around Vevey, take a train ride from Vevey to Laussane (regional one not the fast trains), explore Chillon castle, do a trip on golden express or glacier express, take a trip to Roches de Nayers and just relax and enjoy scenic beauty of the region. Highly recommended

Montreux is a wonderful location to spend your holiday.
Montreux is a wonderful location to spend your holiday. It has many restaurants to dine at. The view of the lake is stunning. There is plenty of public transport, and with free passes you can travel all around the town. And also there are a couple of free train journeys for you to travel up the mountain side. And should you feel lucky, you can try your luck at the Casino which is just across the road from the Hotel.

Two night/three days in Montreux barely scratched the surface of all the things to see and do. The charm, the location, culture and sheer beauty, especially along the lakefront captured my heart. May it capture yours, too!

Great for using as a base for travelling. Good boat trips on the lake and recommended for the Christmas Market. Riviera card saved some money when travelling with free bus travel between Vevey and Villeneuve along the lakeside.

Wonderful place.
Wonderful place. The city is confined in a narrow region between the lake and steep mountain, but still well organized without mess. There are several parking buildings which was ok during the jazz fest in September. So many wonderful places to visit if you take mountain trains from Montreux.
The location is extremely convenient, get down from the train station, walk right until you get to the Irish pub, take the lift down and continue walking left. You will reach the hotel in no time. The hotel is facing the river, and there are many restaurants nearby! There are also supermarkets (Denner, Coop) in the mall nearby. The hotel provides the Montreux card which is a big help in navigating around this place. The hotel admin lady is extremely friendly and the room is very comfortable. Absolutely loved the bed!
The location is dope !!! it’s one of the hotels just on edge of promenade of Montreux.
in fact the only one with all sides facing lake and also the restaurant on top of promenade and lake.
special kudos to the staff. French hospitality with Swiss flavour can be best.
we also liked the breakfast spread and would highly recommend for those who are food connoisseurs.
Anna from Eurotel helped to reserve the topmost floor for us and also arranged the room for our kid. overall nothing could have been better.
My favorite hotel on our 3 week trip this summer! The staff that work there go above and beyond in every way imaginable! I absolutely adored the staff at this hotel! Beautiful hotel right on the lake with breathtaking views! I absolutely loved this hotel and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the PERFECT hotel in Montreux! Exceptional experience!!! We miss it and the people that work there!
The hotel is about 10mns walk away from the main station, and only 2-3mns away from the Montreux riviera walk. There's a bus stop right next to it with multiple bus lines.
Room was bigger than expected, and the bathroom too. Clean. Lots of towels provided. Comfortable large bed. Cozy balcony with a limited but nice view of the lake and mountains. Safe & fridge are available.
Hotel Parc & Lac boasts a commendable location, offering close proximity to the serene Montreux lake - a definite highlight. The rooms were big (at least the ones we had) However, beyond its prime location, there's a noticeable lack of standout features or amenities. Future guests should set their expectations accordingly.
Without a doubt this is the best luxury hotel with the best food and staff in Montreux .Family run amazing staff incredible food
Service was impeccable
We will be back next year for more nights
Stunning views and great value for money
Easy access into town centre without staying in town centre lovely and peaceful
Hotel du Lac was our base as we came and went from Montreux, staying a total of 5 nights. Tomas was always available to provide for our needs, answer questions and park our bikes. A bonus -There is a washing machine and dryer available to use.
You cannot separate price from the evaluation of quality when considering any property. Montreux is a classy resort and most hotels are corresponding expensive. The Bon Port was very good value as a centrally located, 'clean and safe' option.
Great room on 5th floor with balcony and wonderful view, comfortable bed and shower, very responsive staff and tasty breakfast. Great location if arriving by train - hotel front door accessible from train platform #1!
We were upgraded to the 5 star Royal Plaza, in a small room, fine, we did like it.
Exceptional breakfast (we didn't book it because the price 35 - but at reception desk was 20)
Very nice hotel, directly on the beach.
One of the most cleanest hotels I have ever been. Very kind receptionists and excellent location. There is a direct access from the train station Montreux Platform 1. Wonderful place, I will definitely come back.
I stayed at the hotel for the Montreux Jazz Festival. The location is perfect. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The staff is super friendly. Overall, I had a very nice stay.
Incredible hotel. Everyone was so hospitable and welcoming. We came with our 2 year old son who was so spoilt (in the best way!). A great hotel for a luxurious stay in Montreux.
The view from our rooms was abolutely stunnig. The hotel lobby and terrace are also amazing. It is a very classic old style hotel perfectly situated to explore Montreux.
Their restaurant next door to the hotel was great! Wonderful location. Breakfast for $14 was great with a good variety. Walking distance to the train station.
