Nice resort, a bit small, good for beginners, not too busy, cool snow park, relatively affordable (for Swiss standards), almost no drag lifts (in Leysin itself). Unfortunately it was too warm when I was there (February 2020) so the snow was not really good, but other than that it's great for a long weekend.
I treated my nephew and his two young sons, aged 7 and 11, to a brief visit to Leysin. The boys loved the place, the well-equipped kitchen and especially the cosiness of the wood-burning heater! Also much appreciated was the proximity to the sports centre, especially the swimming pool, which the boys used every day, and the grocery shops within reasonable walking distance. Excellent wi-fi connection and netflix on the tv offered entertainment for the kids when the weather turned. Also enjoyed was he superb scenery and the vast open spaces.
It is a very smart decision. 1 day before check-in they block 350 CH on my bank account as a guarantee of the order in the room during my visit. I received # of our room by sms. When we arrived, there was a stick with my name on the door, and the key was inside the room. The next morning I visited reception and filled in documents. Check out the same. We put the key on the table and went out.
The hotel is situated close to the train station. This is so cozy, quiet, and comfortable accommodation.
I completely recommend 100%.
Leysin is a beautiful mountain village and this property is in a convenient location. It was clean and very suitable for my needs. My arrival was a little confusing at first then I got a message saying where to find the keys and all was well. I did appreciate the owner checking in via messages during my stay. The apartment itself is bright and comfortable. The deck is lovely for morning coffee or an evening drink. The view is excellent. I would be happy to stay here again.
Truly a gem! Amazing views from the top of Leysin. Lovely, comfortable room. Cute decor throughout. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast with cold & hot options. Loved our dinner in the restaurant (perch appetizer followed by fondue chinois). Cocktails in the lounge. The grounds are beautiful & relaxing. Free parking. Pet friendly. I read reviews that said the bathrooms were outdated. This wasn’t the case for us. Our bathroom seemed brand new.
Booking this accommodation offered great value for its good price and excellent location, conveniently close to supermarkets, restaurants and ski lift, with the added benefit of available parking. The key handover was smooth, and while the place was clean yet old, it matched the advertisement perfectly, making for a reliable and comfortable stay.
The hotel and room was very good, with excelent balcony view of the Alps, we were amazed! ☺️
Wi-fi was very good. The receptionist from Portugal was amazing, very helpful and kind, and speaks very good English.
The breakfast was delicious!

Bravo for Nespresso machine in hotel lobby next to entrance
Lovely swimming pool, sauna, steam room etc with views of snow capped mountains.
