All hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a room upgrade to a room with full lake view. Breakfast is super. We had twice lunch in Bistrot Gaston. Their "plat du jour" was delicious while enjoying the lake view. The "older" waiter was a very welcoming and friendly person. The hotel itself is a bit older but all facilities were 100% clean and still very much OK. We enjoyed our stay in Montreux and would definitely go back to this hotel.

I loved the location , slightly up away from Montreux central . Bus very easy to get to everything . If you don’t want to walk the 206 bus stops outside .

This is a truly charming and historic hotel with very welcoming staff. The views over the lake from our room’s balcony were spectacular.

Price was great. Room was small but we didn’t stay in the room and so didn’t mind. Bathroom was small but it was newer and worked great with good water pressure. We walked to and from the train station in about 15 mins. There was a bus that we could’ve taken just outside the hotel. The hotel provided a transportation card that we used for free bus rides. Our favorite things in the area for our short visit - walks along the lake, Charlie’s World (a surprisingly great thing to do), and Chateau de Chillon.
