We loved the authenticity of the place! It felt like an adventure as we stayed in an attic room with a shared bathroom. We knew this when we booked it, but trusted the high reviews of the place and were well rewarded! The staff were all amazing and helpful and went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable. We stowed our luggage and explored the town until check in. The included breakfast was also beautiful. Authentic Swiss breakfast and also bacon and eggs. They also had a playroom for children which we thought was brilliant for families.

Amazing cozy apartment that made us feel at home. The apartment is right next to the bus stop and it is right in the middle of the valley with an amazing view. Reka was a super host to us and she helped us with our luggage while we waited for our next accommodation. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent rail link from Interlaken and then access by train or cable car to various mountains. Whilst the village is quiet it has a coffee shop and a few other shops open during March, I'm sure many more in the Summer.

The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful.
The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful. Small town with a cliff on both sides. Very scenic. Murren and Shilthorn the Ski Attractions are accessible through Lauterbrunnen. Nice cosy hotels and wonderful food and friendly people is what Lauterbrunnen offers. Its very close to the wonderful town Wengen (20 min via train) which is at a Hill top opposite to Lauterbrunnen and connects to Jungfrau - The Top of Europe. Lauterbrunnen is a must visit town if one is visiting Switzerland and wants to enjoy a very scenic and less crowded experience.

The place view is beautiful especially the Staubacch Falls. The property manager is very helpful he was very detailed about entering to the property. If you have questions or problems you can easily contacted him via phone or WhatsApp and he will answer your call right then.

Lauterbrunnen is perfect if you prefer to be in a quiet and low key spot versus some of the larger towns in the area. It is basically one street but has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The train station services everything in the area, and also has a lift to Murren. There are plenty of cafes, a supermarket and sports equipment stores. It's a lovely village.

High quality materials, minimalist design, thoughtful lightning and one of the comfiest beds I ever slept on provides so much needed relaxation after a day of hiking and exploring the valley. Additionally, we greatly appreciated hospitality of the personnel who did their best to accommodate our wishes. Breakfast choice was nearly excellent, especially super crispy bacon. Would love to come back again when it's less rainy :D

The location is good, about 7 minutes from the train station (uphill), the entrance is a little confusing as the restaurant is in front of the hotel. You have to make your own bed but it is a good measure to keep prices low. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! It is also very helpful that the hostel has its own carpark.
