Our room was quite spacious for 3 people and our luggage. The shared kitchen and living room also very warm and beautifully decorated with an amazing view! The location was very convenient almost 10 minutes drive from Gstaad. Our host, Urs, was very friendly and helpful and prepared for us an amazing breakfast during our stay! He is a very kind and warm person and really loves what he does!

It is not a hotel, it is home. The people there treat you like you are one of the family or owner of the room. From the entry olivier will welcome you and give all the support you need. Then the front desk will finalize all your paper and you will enjoy the room. Room size is very big and it is very clean and comfortable. Then you go to the restaurant, the chef Francisco is fabulous he will treat you like a king. The spa is deferent story, it is very big and you have multiple choices of steam room and sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi. Then hotel shuttle is also amazing they have Aston martin available to droop you to locations near the hotel. If you want to be in the very center of Gstaad this is a wonderful location. A no frills room, a bed and a good bathroom, nothing else. Who wants to spend more time in your room than just sleeping in a wonderful place like Gstaad? Excellent underground parking 100 feet from the hotel. Good basic budget room.

Plenty of choices for breakfast. Really enjoyed all the staff. Husband was skiing for the first time so was great having the instructors right out the door plus the fact you can rent all the equipment right on the property. Anja, as always mentioned, runs the place extremely well. Feels like you're part of the family. Thank You to all!

Upon arrival the guest card was not sent to me via E-Mail. I went to the main building of the Hotel "Krone". There were two gentlemen in process of moving furniture out of the hotel. One took care of the guest card. I was asked for my personalities. Then a short while later I did receive the guest card via E-Mail. The last day of my holiday in Hotel "Krone Budget", at the Restaurant "zum Gade" nobody showed up in the morning at 06:30. In the guest information upon arrival it was stated that it will be possible to have breakfast at this restaurant after 06:30. I explicitly had announced on my arrival day that I shall come by this time for breakfast. I then went to the main building of the Hotel "Krone". I asked there when I could get breakfast. At first I was told by 07:30. Then as more employees arrived I was told it will be possible to have breakfast immediately i.e. at 07:00 as certain things still were in process of being prepared. By that occasion I told to one employee who bothered about electricity the evening before that the heating in the toilet of my room did not work. Most likely the air had to be let out. He wanted to fix this immediately. I told him he can fix this when I am gone. This overall was a very great service. They very much did take care!
